"Very expensive, for what they offer... "
This hotel just opened I was told and although they are in "The Loop", that don't make you feel like you're in the "The Loop" They have no shuttle services, no continental breakfast or shower caps. Of course, if you have all that, then this would be the hotel for you. It's close to lots that the DT has to offer and the staff is excellent. But, I like a "few" creature comforts, like shower caps and breakfast. We parked by way of the valet parking and ate in the downstairs restaurant, which easily was another hundred dollars. They did have a refrigerator in the room, but there was nothing in it. At least they should have bottled water in the refrigerator. I guess that for breakfast?

"Nice central location"
We enjoyed the hotel and it's location. The wine hour was comfortable and interesting. We had to change rooms due to a noisy fan motor and our 2nd room had a very small bathroom. Hotel staff were consistently cheerful and helpful.

"Very nice, non-fancy hotel"
I ws very pleasantly greeted and found my room to be clean, decently furnished with a wonderful shower int he bathroom and of a nice, but not huge size for a single person. Good lighting, even though poor outdoor light as I was on an alley in the Chicago Loop area. I liked the simplicity but found excellent wi-fi, with no disconnections or times with no service, contrary to what others had said. Staff was helpful , small and got to know me over my 5 day stay. I was supplied with the few things I needed. I would happily return to this hotel. It is also well situated for my purposes, with in the center of downtown Chicago

"Nice stay, but beware the air conditioning."
I always stay here when I'm in Chicago if I can. I would stay here again, but talk to the staff about the heating system in the evening. It's a hotel geared to the business traveller, so there are perks I love: self-serve iron/ironing board closet (although the other supplies seemed to be low on this particular trip, like tea and soap), free washing and drying of clothes (great on long trips), very nice desk setup, and computers/iPads/printers to borrow and use. This trip, I have two quibbles: First, they have switched out the traditional coffee machines with a pod-based machine. Great if you want coffee, but if tea is your thing, you have to go into the business centre one floor below the lobby and use the hot water in the espresso machine. Boo. Second, the "heat" was blowing cold air and when I couldn't stand it anymore at 3a.m. and called the front desk, they told me that "right now the hotel is on cool. So I suggest that you turn the heat off to keep more cold air from coming in, and we'll bring up a space heater or more blankets." They did bring up a heater, and I found a clean blanket in the closet, and after that I slept very well.

For being the one of the priciest if not the priciest hotel in the Loop, it better be good. I am not sure any hotel room is worth $500 a night.

"Great Location and Staff, Small Room"
I shopped online and found a good price for the room. The location was excellent for my needs and near some eateries. There is overnight parking across the street and down a block, as of 5/24/15 the cost was $42 for that location, $65 + tips at the hotel. You expect that kind of pricing for the area. The room was very clean and modern, however, it was so small you could not have anyone in the bathroom and be able to open the door. I said that correctly, the room is so small that the little bar that is attached to the door for the safety latch interferes with the sliding door to the bathroom, when you close the bathroom door, it covers the little bar that sticks out and when you open the exit door, it opens the bathroom door. That means anyone coming down the hall sees into your bathroom and anyone in it. That is small. Perhaps if I paid more than $188 it would have been larger, but I think that even at that low price you should be afforded privacy. The bed was fabulous, did not want to get out. The staff is really responsive and the furnishings are first class, just watch out for the size of the room, check it before you go to far. Our room was 1123, where they put the Lilliputians'.
