The Hotel is wonderful. I believe most rooms have a balcony overlooking the lake. The room was spacious. The bathroom exceptional. Plenty of outlets for media devices. The internet was not very good. Very low bandwidth and to effectively video chat. Not much more to say about the Hotel ,,, BUT ,, the Restaurant is a different story. I went down to dinner @ 1830. The Bartender on the first floor said the restaurant opened @ 1900. So, I sat down in the bar to get a glass of wine. After sitting there for 15 minutes, it was obvious the bartender/waiter could not multi-task. The bar had 3 couples plus myself in it. A total of 25 minutes and the bartender still did not acknowledge me being there. So, I went downstairs to the restaurant to find out it didn't open until 1930. Finally seated at a nice table looking out to the lake, the main waiter brought me a glass of wine. Then, the menu and I ordered a meat (steak) dish and salad. This restaurant taunts itself as pretty classy with china like dishes and al the white clothes, etc. Well ,,, bottom line, the meal was horrible. And expensive. The salad was basically grass and tomato ,, no taste whatsoever. Other than the initial contact with my waiter, the service was extremely bad. At the end of the meal, one of the waiters in white brought me a desert menu. After 20 minutes waiting to order desert, I finally got up to tell my waiter to put the bill on my room. I would suggest the hotel, avoid the restaurant.

I was very impressed with the Palace hotel. The staff at the front desk spoke very good English and were very helpful and knowledgable. The room was so comfortable, and I especially loved the shower. would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel but more like a 3 star in terms of room and facilities. Staff lovely and food both at breakfast and dinner was really nice. Shame they don't offer free wifi though as this would be a real bonus.
This hotel is in a great spot for exploring Como and surrounds. It is has a contemporary feel with a bar/restaurant downstairs. (This never bothered us noise wise, we were on the 4th floor). The guy on the front desk after 2pm always smiles and is there to please his guests. Our room was clean, modern with a great shower and interactive TV. Our luggage was held before and after check out.
Great hotel in Como! Very comfortable rooms, the hotel staff are friendly and really helpful. Free parking which is convenient for people who traveling by car, I and my friend enjoyed our two nights stay here, and will definitely recommend to others.
Good stylish hotel with nice rooms. Lovely gardens, although traffic noise is evident. Pool looks lovely but it was too cold to be in for any length of time. The corporate event overwhelmed the hotel which meant breakfast was every man for himself and when they all checked out, it meant our room was not made up until 18:00 at night.
"Location good easy walk into Como 10 mins to centr"
We found the location of the hotel good for exploration of the area which we did by foot. We paid for parking in the hotels garage as did not intend to use it while we were there. It was 15 euros a day so not cheap but safe.
The staff were friendly but more used to dealing with people on business in Como. Communal area ok clean, modern and functional.
Rooms good size, clean and comfortable. Could be noisy though
breakfast although a lot on offer could be better with fresh fruit and breads

This lakeshore town near the Swiss border has elegant parks and medieval buildings. It also has a busy industrial quarter based on silk manufacture, and is a fine place for shopping. A museum traces the history of Como’s textiles, which still supply the great fashion houses of Europe. Main sights are a handsome Gothic - Renaissance cathedral, and the Romanesque church of Sant’Abbondio, decorated with 14th-century frescoes.
