“comfortable”

It wasn't the nicest hotel but it was fairly nice. I would stay there again.

“Would make some changes”

Sound suppression in the hotel was not very good. We could hear every footstep in the room above us and a door slammed early in the morning where our room was located. Breakfast was only served until 9AM which was a bit early for someone not on a business trip.

“Thoughts”

The room was small and not cleaned very well. Staff was pleasant.

“Sad”

This is an old and worn down hotel. Upon entry into the lobby, the hotel appears to be dark and lacking light. The same applies to the hallways and rooms as well. The walls are very thin as I could hear footsteps in the hallways, in the room next door, doors closing down the hall, and personal conversations of my neighbors. The bathroom also had stains along the walls, and the carpet in my room was tearing. Overall this is one hotel I will not be staying in again.

“Gym Dinky”

The gym is the size of a walk in closet with one stepper and one treadmill. The batteries in the remote were dead. The hotel in general was okay, but I was expecting more.

“Could be a great place to stay”

after reading the past reviews I decided to give this place a chanceas it is close to the zoo and priced right. Reserved a smoking room. Bad choice. As soon as the elevator doors opened there was a stale smoky smell. The hallway was loud with many room doors open, as if it was a college dorm, lots of loud drunk patrons, When we finnally got to the room the smell was even worse, smelled as if someone had just smoked a joint. The staff was kind enough to give us a room on another floor. The rooms are nice, the beds lush and very comfortable. The breakfast was good except for the spoiled packets of coffee cream. The internet was broken. Had just one of these things been wrong it wouldn't have been so bad. This could be a great place to stay if they would just pay attention to details and do something about the smoking floor.

“not as expected”

When we got there the front lobby looked very nice and the hotel clerk was friendly. But when we went to the 4th floor which was a smoking room we'd requested, the whole hallway as we got off the elevator smelled like a dirty ashtray. I smoke at home and my home doesn't smell like that. It needed some steam cleaning or fabric refresher sprayed at least. The bath room door would not lock because it sat crooked in the frame and was a sliding door. There was only a shower which my daughter did like but the bath and mirror area were divided by the sliding door thus no privacy at the mirror from the rest of the room. The continental breakfast wasn't all that either but it was free with the room so could save one money for that meal.
