“Good for the price”

The hotel has obviously seen better days and could use a good facelift. However, the price is favorable compared to nearby hotels and the rooms are adequate - clean and reasonably comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive.

“cheap and emergency”

Our ac went out in our house. We stayed here in a crunch. The staff did upgrade us to a king bed but it was really hard and uncomfortable. There was no refrigerator or microwave in room. The bathroom door was warped and hardly closed. The room was clean though and really quiet. The breakfast was extremely continental.

“Affordable”

It was a place to rest at the end of the day. It is an older hotel but served its purpose. The price was ok. It really didn't appear to be a three star.

“Not your Mother's Ramada”

Our stay was literally for a night and we were only there about 12 hours. I totally understand that you get what you pay for, but, I have literally stayed in a "nap room" at a motel which was maintained better than this one. The bathtub was not appealing at all, it looked dirty. I showered in flip flops and my mother but a towel in the bottom of the tub to shower and I didn't allow my son to sit in the tub. Clearly, this is a case where this location should probably close if it cannot measure up to the standards of other Ramada locations. I will definitely be choosing another hotel in that area for my next visit. I told the front desk upon check out about our issues. Overall, impression, spend the same amount of money to go some place else.

“Needs updated”

The hotel rooms are in need of updating. However, the location is great as it is 20 minutes from downtown St Louis and is much much cheaper than staying in St Louis. There is a comedy club and TGI Fridays attached to the hotel which is nice.

“Very Out Dated Hotel”

The Hotel is very out dated like back in the 70's! I guess back in it's day it was nice but it needs to be brought into the 21st century.

“Hard to Find Hotwire has wrong hotel name”

It was hard to find our hotel, as Hotwire listed it as Fairview Hotel and Conference Center and it is in reality a Ramada Inn. Heat and A/C did not work well. About half of the lights in the room did not work. No we didn't complain because we arrived very late and did not want to take the time for maintenance to show up. Breakfast in the morning left alot to be desired.

“Good value 3 star”

with a little more effort this could be a great value. The maid service needs more supervision and inspection than was evident. I had to direct her to do her job a couple of times. Not bad, and not far from being a great value.

“Nice hotel...in its day”

This property was very run down. I can see how it might have been a nice 3 star in its time, however it needs much work to claim 3 star now.
