“Comfortable and reasonable”

What impressed me most about this motel was the beauty outside. The room was average - but clean. For your money, it was great. If you're looking for a reasonable room, it's the place to stay.

“Satisfied”

We had a room with a king sized bed and no smoking. Hotel room was spacious, very clean and quiet. We would stay there again, but would warn travelers that there is no clock, no hair dryer, no microwave and no hangers in the closet. For our two day stay, this was not a problem, except we did wish a clock was available. There is a coffee maker and a table and chairs. If you want a basic, clean quiet room, this is it.

“Good for the price.”

For the rate this hotel was great. Just what we needed, a place to sleep. Only problem was the heat didn't work. Rooms could use some updating, but overall it was not bad.

“Good Enough”

We were looking for a cheaper alternative for a room when we went to Chico for a wedding. The hotel looks good from the outside (actually better than I thought), and the interior is dated, but clean. We had two queen beds in our room and it was a little cramped, but I took a peek at the rooms with one king and they looked nice. The beds were as comfy as any hotel I've been in. Everything worked fine- air conditioning, fridge, microwave, and tv. The pool was a little small but perfect to cool down in the afternoon. This hotel is nothing special, but about half the price of some of the hotels down town. (I noticed that they are doing some major remodeling on the rear two story section- maybe they are in the process of remodeling all of the units?) There is a reastrant about two doors down along with a small shop and a great coffee kiosk on the corner of East and Esplanade! If you're looking for a really nice room, this isn't it. But if you're looking for an econamical place to lay your head at the end of the day, this is the ticket.

“Will be back next time we come to town.”

The hotel is aged, and it shows in the room. The tiling in the bathroom and the shower shows the age, but everything worked just fine. The heater worked great. The room was comfortable, and well worth the price for a bed for the night.

“Not quite”

The pictures posted with this hotel definitely does not tell the whole story. The pool needed cleaning. The room was exceedingly small and not very clean. The mini fridge was growing mold. The only electrical outlet that was easy to get to was in the bathroom. And there were several live in tenets that had garbage strung out all over. One day we didn't get any clean towels and finding an iron to go with the ironing board that was there seemed to put the person at the front desk out of sorts. He was very unfriendly. You get what you pay for here which is not much.

“very unimpressed”

Althought the stafff was courtious, their communication skills were lacking. Lots of confusion from the start. They did try and accomodate. However, we should have looked at the room prior to staying. It was horrible! In dis-repair to say the least. I dont think there has been any updating or repairs done in over 30 yrs! The sleeping accomodations in the "suite" in the living room pull out couch were terrible. No way a person could sleep on springs! We had to share the bed in the bedroom afterall. There were holes in the walls and around the windows, the closet door was partially off and was leaning up against the rest of the area. The bathroom was stained and somewhat dirty. I could continue, however the bottom line was, I should have stayed in my daughters dorm room! Dont waste your time and money at this estabishment. Just terrible.
