“Good Hotel, sure I'll be staying there in my next trips to Caracas”
I liked the hotel! it is located in a good area, nice food, nice rooms and good Internet... I sure will be staying there when I go to Caracas. at night we had a Jazz mini.concert, very good one.
“Hotel Crackers....... Don't Stay Here!”
This hotel promised so much and delivered so little. The 'boutique' room was more like a boot locker. It was dark and cramped, the window looked onto a giant wooden plank that shielded the room from any light, and the door had a deadlock that annoying snapped shut all the time requiring a two handed escape whenever you wished to leave. Worst of all was the bathroom. There was no soap, shampoo and only 2 towels (no handtowels or floormat). The doors and walls of the bathroom are MADE OF GLASS! Yes that's right, if you happen to be sharing with someone who is not your most intimate lover, be prepared to display yourself whenever you take a shower or need to use the toilet. There is absolutely no privacy, so if you plan sharing with a platonic partner then perhaps you should look elsewhere. The service is terrible. We asked on many occasions for them to send more towels and a small bar of soap and they promised but the delivery never came. I asked for an iron and ironing board and was told that they were not available at this hotel. Who has ever been to a hotel that costs as much as this a night and doesn't have an iron?? Overall the general attitude of the staff from the receptionists to the waiters was dismaying. They are demotivated and lack interest in your opinion. I expected normal Latin American hospitality and i was bitterly disappointed! On a positive note the breakfast was pretty good (desayuno americano), and there is free wireless internet. But AVOID!
“No towels! No breakfast!”
Upon my arrival, at 6:30 p.m. I noticed there were no towels in my room. I called housekeeping, twice, there was no answer, called the front desk, I got a busy signal three times. Finally, I went downstairs on three occasions. On the third, I had to be really emphatic, court and demanding. It was the bellmen, who noticed how frustrated I was, who dug in some cabinet - probably, and brought me towels, at 11:30 p.m. Breakfast was a nightmare as well. They say a continental breakfast is included in therate, so it shouldn't be hard to mind the restaurant, but oh, dear! On the second day of my stay, I had to leave on an empty stomach. I came down to the restaurant at 7:00 a.m. no one was waiting the tables. By 7:15 a shy waiter appeared and he brought me tea and apologized that they did not have cheese. An order of melon juice and slices of ham that I placed, never came!!!! There was only one other guest at the restaurant, so it wasn't like they were crowded! They just don't care about service there.
“Not very impress nothing about the hotel was boutique under perform for such a new hotel.”
Not impress at all, very dated, no services available and no mini bar although their web-site said it had one. Yes the fridge was there but no contents or avability to open it!!.
