“Awful”
Hotel room was clean but that's about only thing going for this hotel. Looks cheap and tacky throughout. Staff more interested in talking to each other. Awful hotel
“avarage”
not entusiastic about the style
“Not Impressed”
I stayed in this hotel for a week in July. The location of the hotel is great, right next to the Carlton Intercontinental on the Croisette. If you often use your WIFI connectivity at your hotel room, then you might want to think of another hotel. The WIFI only worked for the first 2 days, and I kept complaining about it not working anymore for the remaining 5 days with no outcome.
“Canne stay”
Nice boutique hotel with a different flair. Each floor had a different theme and was very eclectic. Staff spoke good English and was very helpful. A block off the ocean and near all the shops.
“the only Cannes disappointment”
Breakfast very expensive......internet charges simply outrageous......room without a/c....heating always on during the day with very warm weather....room temperature i guess 90F.
“Not impressed but OK”
Standart room was a bit smaller than I expected. I would recommend to book junior suite. There is one thing which made me upset. Upstaires on the roof of the hotel there's a pool. On my last day I came there and found only one sunbed which was not reserved, so I took it. All the sunbeds had a sign 'Reserved'. That's how I realised that sunbed was free. In an hour my dream was interrupted with the hostess who asked me to get out. I should mention that the guy was quite rude. I had a unpleasant conversation with him. I saw that he removed from other sunbeds the revervation signs cause people who came for that sunbeds wanted to take the bed I had occupied already. I said OK and moved to one of the sunbeds which I thought was already free to take. But the guy said again that I should leave. So I got tired of that conversation and just left.
“Great Location and Very Nice Staff”
We were very happy with our stay and with our room. I know the floors are themed so I can only speak for the Oceanic floor/room. It was nice and comfy with all the amenities we needed. Would be happy to return.
“Not impressed”
We stayed at the 3.14 when it first opened a number of years ago. Our stay in March 2010 was very poor , the staff seemed distracted by matters other than there customers. There was little interest shown when we arrived we staff walking away from us when we approached reception. Our first bedroom was very very dark and very small which we complained about. We were then moved to a bedroom next to the lift a it was designed for disabled. Wifi access for four days was £60 and carparking £100+. The Hotel enviornment was dark worn out and tatty. The staff were not interested in comments complaints etc We checked out
“Extremely disappointed”
My husband and I made a speial trip to this hotel to celebrate my birthday. What a let down. Our room had stains (looked like from water damage) running down the walls, the carpet was stained badly, the toilet wobbled every time you sat on it, and the room just had a dirty smell to it. The hallways were very dimly lit and I was almost thankful for fear what I would find if it were well lit. This hotel cost us the same as a room at the Carlton down the street (which we finally checked into) and there was NO comparision in room quality, bed comfort, or staff service. Will never go back!
“Been there a year before, so I knew what to expect”
It's above average for sure
