Upbeat Hotel with lots of activities

Pros: The food was great. Interior lobby area was spacious and different than other hotels.
Cons: Would get rid of large tubs in guest rooms and put sofas or other furniture in its place.
Location: Did not venture out of resort.
Impressed with our experience at the Hard Rock Cancun. Most staff were friendly and very accommodating, only negative being that some staff ignored our children when they were trying to order soft drinks at the pool bar. We paid an all inclusive fee for them and I felt they should be accommodated as well. We tried all of the restaurants and we were very happy with the food selection and quality. Rooms were updated and clean. Mini bar was restocked every morning. Room service was quick, normal wait time was 10-15 mins. Beautiful location, pool area and beach. 3rd floor pools were under construction the entire time and were unusable. Lobby area, indoor bar area, and separate areas to chill and play games were very nice. Many activities are scheduled for all age groups at the kids area, teen area, or pool. Nice workout facility, tennis courts and basketball courts also. Something for all ages if you choose to participate. The 8pm and 9pm shows were a bonus as well.

Hard rock cancun

One of the best times I've had in years . Endless food and drinks . 24 hr room service staff was always trying to appease you . Definitely recommend and will be going back . Was surprised how kid friendly the atmosphere was even over spring break . A bit pricier but you pay for what you get . They could use some more loungers on the beach . Highly recommended .

Loudest hotel ive ever been too

Love cancun been many times but the hard rock is one of the loudest places ive ever stayed at! And i dont mean the partyin! Its every single time someone opens a door it slams so loud sounds like a gun shot went off! No lie, all hours of the nite. Same with the elevators So i would recommend it but i wouldnt

I have never been to a hotel where every member of the staff was so nice and helpful. I will definitely recommend hard rock because of the excellent service I received while there.

All was great other than the beds being way too hard and lumpy...Also expected to see MANY LESS little children running, and SPLASHING around....Great resort and location though...!

Location: XCARET is excellent
First if all I will write about the good things at the hotel...the appearance, the ambiance, the staff and the service are all great. The room is very good. My room had a peculiar smell which use to go after opening the door. The view from the room was great...ocean view overlooking the pools. Now about things that are OK at the hotel...which is food. They have various restaurants (Asian, Grill, Mexican, Pizza place and then international buffet). The food was OK at these restaurants. The best food is at the Asian restaurants. We did not like the food at the grill place or at the Mexican restaurants. Item selection at the international buffet is great so you always find something to eat. The worse part of the deal was the "limitless resort credit". First of all it is very limited...you can only spend it on services, very few excursions and only at one store with limited items. 20% service fee is charged if you use this credit. So for $1000 worth of services you will end up paying $200. The items are priced so high that it is not worth buying them and you need to book the services well in advance otherwise you will not get the appointment. They will also ask you to attend this 90 minute presentation where they will try to sell you the membership of RCI and Legendary club. Beware of that because it is a RIP off. Mine lasted for about 150 minutes. So if you are booking the hotel and deducting the resort credit to come up with the true cost...DON'T.

Too much harrasing to buy memberships and tours. They allow people on the resort to sell stuff very annoying and you have to be careful because they add charges on room tab this happened to allot of guest and you have to argue to get them taken off lots of wasted time
