“PARKING FEE”
We were surprised and disappointed upon our arrival to be charged a parking fee per day. Later, when I was reviewing the hotel information bookl in our room, the fee was $6.00 cheaper per day than what I was charged at check in. I immediately called the front desk to have this fee corrected on my account. We were in town for medical reasons. A free shuttle was offered to commute patients staying at the hotel to the hospital a 1/2 mile away. Upon our arrival at the hospital we learned that the parking tower their has fees half the price of the hotel with validation. When we contacted the hotel to get a return shuttle we were told it would be 45 minutes to an hour before the shuttle would return to pick us up. We opted to walk back to the hotel. Thankfully the weather was tolerable and my husband did not receive chemo or other treatments prior to our leaving the hospital. If the hotel wants to charge a parking fee, I feel it should be waived for guests clearly not staying their for tourism reasons, but medical. They should also be a little bit more occomodating for shuttle pick-ups.
“sataisfied”
very nice pleasant staff
“ok”
The hotel that I usually stay in the back bay was filled. I didn't want to spend a lot of $ for 1 night so I went with this hotel. It's not bad. It's right on the "c" line. It's clean enough. My only gripe was that I was in a room on the interior side of the hotel & it didn't get very good cell service. If you stay there, get a room on the beacon st side of the hotel. It might be louder, but you'll probably get better cell service.
“Convenient Location, Comfortable Room”
Our room with queen bed was small, but well appointed, comfortable, and quiet. The hotel is located on the green line of the T, which made it easy for us to get downtown and even over to Harvard. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Great place”
Loved the neighbourhood, the hotel, the services. Close to transit, nice decor and we loved the big chess game!
“brookline holiday inn”
The $21 charge for overnight parking was excessive.
“Need update on A/C and floor staff is very professional”
Nice Staff and it is in nice area and close to green line. The hotel need to update it A/C unit and floors.
“Only if you have to”
Only few rooms have windows that face outside the building, most face the inner courtyard (fully covered so no day light) instead. Our first room had huge wet stain on the rug. They didn't have another room with a king bed - so we had to settle for two queen beds. In general the hotel is tired looking and is way too expensive for what it is. I would not recommend it unless you absolutely have to stay in Brookline.
“Boston Inn”
The Holiday Inn was very well run and the staff were excellent. The location was across the street from the T and convenient to downtown Boston. My grandson loved the chess set and the pool. I woulkd recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Boston.
