“Boltana, Espana no more”

Our Suite consisted of a "villa" set off in back of hotel. Air Conditioning was not turned on, & spa was priced around 82 Euros per person for 1 hour in hot tub/spa. Having just come from France & paying 27 euros for 2 people for 2 hours in a beautiful indoor/outdoor spa, this was outrageous. There is not much of a village, only 1 cafe up the mountain, & since we did not feel like navigating the treacherous curves @ night, & especially if having wine with dinner, we decided to dine @ the hotel. After having a couple of drinks @ the bar, we attempted to dine in the restaurant. It was around 8:30 PM & although the restaurant was less than 1/2 full, we were told that we would not be seated until 10 pm. As hotel guests, this was very poorly executed. Since we had a hike planned the next day, we did not feel like eatting @ 11 PM, & then going to bed on a full stomach. As a result, we ended up eatting bread & cheese with leftover fruit from our car trip earlier in the day. For the money we paid, I would not stay in this hotel again, should we return to this area to hike. Additionally, It was disheartening to see that this actually was a converted monastary in the main building, and I felt it was sacrilege to convert to Hotel, and also to have Idols present throughout hotel's main building.

“Agréablement surpris”

Recherchant une étape de notre périple espagnol nous sommes tombés sur ce magnifique 5 étoiles où rien n'est à redire. Point Positif : Piscine, service, emplacement près d'Ainsa, et à une heure du parc national d'ordessa et le grandiose petit déjeuner. Point négatif : Je cherche toujours...
