“Will stay at the Safari Inn on future trips.”
Very convenient to downtown activities. Restaurants, Clubs, etc. Warm and clean, with good help at the front desk.
“Fast wifi”
Good location. Fine. Not fancy.
“Good value for the price”
Would stay there again. Large clean rooms at a reasonable price.
“safri”
Friendly staff. Request for wakeup call not fulfilled. Clerk said phone ringer may be off. Breakfast better than most motel quickies.
“Excellent experience”
Safari Inn is close to downtown, within easy walking distance of good restaurants and points of interest. The desk clerk was efficient and helpful; she took plenty of time to orient me with the hotel map. I didn't use the pool or hot tub, but my travelling companions did, and enjoyed them both. Rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The self-serve breakfast was pretty standard hotel fare. Not great, but varied and fresh.
“Downtown, but...”
Great downtown location, but unless you like noisy party groups and bikers testing loud pipes until 2 am, you might want to move on. That said, this aspect will be part of all downtown hotels, so it's more of a generic gripe. Rooms are spacious and clean, but the age definately shows. Front desk service brisk, if not in the upper range of friendly. But that's OK, since you only needed a bed for the night, right? Longer stays and serious business travellers need not apply, unless you have a high tolerance for noise. Breakfast limited to basic bagles, scones and muffins with jogurt and some fruit, but it ticks the no-nonsence box. Parking easy (an issue in Boise), and pool looked good. Stay recommended, but there are better options around for similar pricing.
“They take care of the details!”
I travel through Boise's airport and am often very tired starting the trips and even more tired after! The details of my stay and the accommodation of the car and taking me to the airport is always easy to accomplish here. I just show up and it all seems to work out,. I have been staying here for twenty years and every time has been a good experience. Just stay off the street side if possible. The teens "drag the gut" until way late on weekends!
“Clean and Comfy”
The room was well appointed in great shape, Clean. Everything worked. No suprises.
“Safari”
Great stay!
“good value in downtown”
This hotel is right downtown in Boise, a good choice if you are visiting the college or capital. You will find some small businesses to shop and plenty of places to eat here. However, all the major department stores have left downtown for the suburbs. The continental breakfast was getting slim by Saturday morning. There was plenty of yogurt and oatmeal packages on Tuesday when I arrived. I am not sure when they shop, but no oatmeal and yogurt by Saturday. They did have chocolate chip cookies on the counter--- a nice touch. Overall I would give it a thumbs up for the price.
