“Won't return”
Had to look at 4 rooms to get one clean enough to stay in. First room had what we believed were contruction materials in the tub. Would have transferred to another hotel if there was availability in the area. Was not a 3 star property as represented.
“Adequate place for a high demand weekend”
I was lucky to find any hotel on a homecoming weekend, so I had very low expectations. This place was better than expected. A little far from the IU campus, but convenient for shopping and eating.
“Summerhouse Inn”
No heat or a/c, unit didn't work. cable was mostly snow, couldn't watch tv. wifi was extremely weak, barely would connect, then lose connection. never again...

Excellent location for visiting IU students living on East side of campus; room and breakfast room were both immaculate.

good location on the perimeter of town, but for the price (a football weekend), I'd rather have gone with a Hampton, Drury Inn, etc. I'd give this a couple stars

Very easy location to get from campus and back.
“Awful service and terrible rooms but good donuts”
Reserved two non-smoking rooms and when we got there 1 room was already taken (actually tried to enter room and guest said he was in there) and had to stay in a smoking room, dirty carpets and no key. I would suggest that you stay at another place in Bloomington if visiting IU.

Convenient and clean, the pool was well taken care of and the price was right. the continental breakfast was lacking.
“Great location for National Forest access.”
This motel is near Ind 446, which goes to the Hoosier National Forest access points for hiking, mountain biking and Lake Monroe. Also, shopping, gas and retail malls close by. The ice cream shop next door is a real plus.
“Not great”
Hotel staff very helpful and friendly and the place was clean. Room had coffeemaker and hair dryer. But the hotel is very old and run down, almost sleezy. The continental breakfast was ok, but not great....you help yourself in a regular kitchen. Location worked well for us. I would not stay again unless there were no other options available.
