Loidi and Lasarte - These restaurants have an excellent reputation and can also be accessed directly from the street, serving buffet breakfast for guests and an à la carte menu for lunch and dinner. The cuisine is Mediterranean with an emphasis on seafood, although the signature dish is the Dice Foie caramelized with Green Apple. The decor continues the sea motif with blue walls and seascape murals. The floor is Brazilian macalauga marble, characterized by its watery blue shades. They are directed by famous chef Martin Berasategui.
Condal Bar - The hotel's piano bar has forest green armchairs, little green stools, scented candles and paneled walls. The bar is open all day and features a live pianist every evening.

“Great room”
A really nice hotel in a great area. We had an premium room that was large and comfortable. There was a balcony overlooking the main street. The room was quiet and roomy. I would highly recommend the hotel. The only complaint is that they should have had a concierge.
“Very good Hotel with an amazing location and fantastic rooftop view”
We stayed at the hotel 2 nights in August and found everything extremely convenient and service oriented. The location of the hotel was absolutelyt ideal for sightseeing, eating and shopping. The area is upscale and very lively even to the late evening hours so you feel comfortable at all times. The rooms were not fully modern but they had all the necessary accomodations and the service was totally professional. The best part is the rooftop deck which has an amazing view of one of Gaudi's buildings and the Sagrada Familia and the atmosphere is truly enjpyable in the evening. We would stay here again.
“Great Location”
We had a very comfortable stay at the Condes. The best part was the location. We walked everywhere from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was fine. My only disappointment was that we were put on the smoking floor, but didn't realize it until midway through our stay. We thought the smoke smell was coming from outside, but then saw on the elevator that it was the only smoking floor. So make sure you check this with them before you take your room!
“excellent location...gaudi everywhere!”
Basic hotel in a great location. enjoy a drink on the roof top bar with an excellent view of La Pedrera.
“Not a three star hotel...at all! And, not one that has folks who are fluent in English!”
The reviews are right on. This is not a four star hotel. First, they try to place you in a dumpy room...in the "old section"...even if you have paid for an upgrade. Took us three tries until we got a decent room. Of course, we overlooked a side street and heard the street noise the entire evening! They don't clean the rooms...merely make the bed and fold the towels...so, if you spill something, you are on your own. The staff does not speak English...so, please, do not even try asking for directions. Beware, if you ask where the stop is located...they will tell you...but, make sure you get on the bus going in the right direction. And, if you want free wi-fi? You need to book directly through the hotel or kiss tha t good-bye. The location is good. The room is decent. But, if you are looking for more than that...you need to look elsewhere!
“"Nice Stay"”
Great location. Lots of shopping, tour buses etc. Pay a little more and get a room upgrade, and stay in the new building. They put us in the old building with an upgraded room and it seemed dingy and depressing. They moved us when we were unhappy and our new room was great. Our friend had one of the loft split level rooms and said it was pretty, but a pain to go to the bathroom at night. The Michelin two star restaurant in the hotel was a little bit of a let down.
“Excellent hotel & location”
The Hotel was great - excellent location right in the heart of Barcelona. I would recommend this hotel to anyone
“Ideal location”
The ideal location for site seeing during a short visit, it sits on the wide and lovely boulevard, Passeio de Gracia. It's just down the street from Gaudi's Batllo House and La Pedrera, not to far from Sagrada Familia, a block from Las Ramblas and near many great restaurants.
“Comfortable with a few glitches”
This is our second stay in this hotel We chose a set of rooms that were recently renovated--the rooms were bright and cheerful to stay in and we were not bothered by a lot of exterior noise. There is a rooftop bar on the top of the building--I would not recommend staying on the floor below just because of the potential for noise. Extras at the hotel (Wi-fi and Breakfast Buffet) came at a premium...be prepared to spend a significant amount of euros/day if for two people and wi-fi. The staff is great..they handle cabs and know how to get to a lot of the local attractions. I needed to print boarding passes and they let me use one of their computers because the public one was not working. Overall, a great stay, but I might consider something more economical next time.
“Wondrful Hotel at great location”
This hotel's location and service was REALY wonderful and we would go back there next time in Barcelona. Very safe, close to great Tapas bars, resturants and chic stores (Chanel, etc) if looking to shop.
