Overall, my husband and I would definitely go back to the Dorint. We stayed for one night in a superior room with a fantastic view of the city. My husband requested flowers for valentines day, so the hotel placed a beautiful bouquet in the room (however we were charged by the hotel and it was 30 euros). Most of the staff were friendly, except for one at the desk upon check out. I felt that with what we had paid for the hotel and the great experience we had been having so far, it would have been nice if she could have at least been friendly and thanked us for staying at the Dorint. The breakfast was very good but portions small if ordered from the menu. The spa pool was a little too cool and could have been warmer. The location was excellent. The hotel was right in front of the downtown shopping area. Overall, we would come back.
I read other reviews that said the staff were not great. When I arrived I noticed several customers arguing with them about the air conditioning and one was arguing about housekeeping not cleaning his room
I asked about my assigned rooms and was told they were not air conditioned. I insisted on not accepting a room without AC.
They arranged them.
Also It took them more than half hour to find our reservation by going through book and computer records.
The hotel was easy to find and very grand looking. The room was spacious with a huge wardrobe and lovely furniture. The breakfast was lovely and the outside seating was very pretty. The hotel is several minutes walk to the casino and the spa. Overall I had a great stay and would stay again.

My wife and stayed at the Atlantic Hotel for two nights. Room was clean and spacious. Only downside I can think of was the noise levels from the alley outside the window. The restaurant at the location was fantastic, both the food and service. Highly recommend dining in at least one night. Very convenient location to town and nearby walking path, gardens, and casino.

This is a very good hotel. Although I booked a single room at a very good price, I was put in a large room with twin beds. I was told ALL rooms are doubles. An older hotel, some rooms are larger and some are smaller. Each room has a new safe which was very easy to use. The bathrooms are new and modern with a hair dryer. There was a large new television. To shut out the light, you need to use a pull cord between the sheer drapes and the windows which lowers or raises the outside panels. The light switches baffled me until I discovered pressing the two smaller switches at the same time turned off the lights. The breakfast buffet was very good: no hot scambled eggs or sausages but there were hard boiled eggs. I would readily stay here again.
