“Not Impressed”
As a frequent traveler I have been in a lot of hotels around the world and to be a W hotel I was not satisfied with the cleanliness of this hotel. When we arrived after a 10 hour long drive the hotel "Wonderful King "room floor had trash on it, one of the bed side lights wasn't working, the sink would fill up when you ran the water and the sink countertop was filthy. We had the hotel housekeeping come in and re-clean and repair the sink and light bulb, but this not what I expected from a W hotel. The plus side to this hotel room was the bed itself. It was very comfortably and we slept well because of it. The privacy shades were a huge plus since the hotel is across from The Mayfair. The "wonderful room" is exactly as pictured on their website so no complaints there. I just wish they would take more care in cleaning the rooms and bath towels otherwise the hotel is quickly going to go down hill.
“Not impressed, more of a party Hotel, I was looking for more of a business and professial instead of”
Did not enjoy because the Hotel turn into a club each night, I was shock and did not expect it. Would not ever stay their again I was use to more like the kimtpon style hotel change in lieu of a club. very very disappointed. Because the Hotel is old and is use for a club all the rooms smell like smoke, good concepts but old and needs updating.
“Extremely disappointed in this hotel”
Booked a "Spectacular King" room for an extended weekend of relaxation (Friday through Monday). When we arrived and unpacked, we realized that our window was cracked...looked like a possible rock had hit it (on the 22nd floor so not likely). Also saw that our desk was so beaten up, raw wood was exposed along the entire front edge of the desk. When I tried to open up the refrigerator door, it dragged the carpet so much that it was difficult to open. To add to all of that, when trying to use the safe, it would not work. A worker immediately came up to work on it and assured us it would only take a few minutes. Forty-five minutes later, and one missed appointment, it was reparied. On the way out of the hotel, I stopped by the front desk to express my concerns about the room. I was offered a lateral room move, no upgrade or two drink tickets. They assured me that they would take the room "off the market" and make the needed repairs once we checked out on Monday. Since we had already become upset with our experience within the first 30 minutes of our stay, the last thing we wanted to do was to pack everything back up and unpack again in a room we were not so sure might look just like the room we were already in. So, we took the two drink tickets. I was so disappointed that this was their only response. No offer for an upgraded room, nothing but two drink tickets. I now know the level of customer service for W hotels. I will not give them my service ever again.
“Comfortable and convenient”
Really liked the W Hotel in Atlanta. It was comfortable and a good-sized room. The samples from the Bliss spa downstairs were great too. The only negatives are that the free, standard internet connection that comes with the room was really crappy and the sink in the bathroom was clogged. Convenient location, great bar and decent breakfast (not included with the room). Would recommend.
“What an amazing stay”
Really enjoyed my stay and loved the looks.
“Very nice modern hotel and would definately stay there next time in ATL!”
THe W hotel in midtown was a great place to stay. The rooms are very clean and modern. WHen you call the front desk they will do about anything you require. There are atleast 3 bars in the place and it is a happening place for outsiders to come in and enjoy some cocktails. The location is good. I would stay there next time I am in town.
“What an AMAZING stay and a night to rememeber.”
I had saved up money to stay at the Hotel I proposed to my wife for her birthday at. I am not doing as well as I used to . In the memo section I wrote it will be my wife's birthday can we do something for her in the notes. When I explained to them my intentions they got me an upgrade to an amazing room. When I entered the room there was old key's from the previous tenant. I called the front desk to make sure no-one else was accidentally already in the room. They said no do not worry. When I returned with my wife to the room the first time there was an amazing platter of fresh fruit, and champagne on ice, along with a delicious desert with a candle. This Hotel went above and beyond and I will be a customer for life.
“Very modern and great staff.”
The hotel is very nice and very modern. The staff is friendly and quick to serve. The only complaint I have is all the snacks and drinks they had for sale in the room. The refrigerator and shelves were full of the stuff at rediculouse prices. It gave the room a very cheep feel.
“Hotel is very trendy.”
Not impressed with the trendy decor of the hotel - very cheap looking. Disappointed with the "W" brand.
“Fabulous”
Very trendy and modern. Loved it.
