Fint hotel lige i centrum af Athen, tæt på alt

Posted 24-Jul-2015
Pros: Beliggenheden og pæn stand
Cons: Internettet er langsomt. Man kan opgradere for 14 euro om dagen, hvilket er helt vanvittigt dyrt. Juicen (morgenmad) er syntetisk (dårlig)
Location: Glimrende!
Generelt godt, især beliggenheden som er tæt på alle de store seværdigheder.

Great lobby but rooms aren't very good.

Posted 23-Jul-2015
The shower is filled with mold and bathroom door didn't shut. Toilet paper holder broken. Beds very comfortable tho. They spent all the money in lobby not rooms.

I was looking for a cheaper hotel which was clean, close to Avis rental cars (very close) for the first night in Athens before we went on a road trip. I have been in Athens several times, and I have done WAY worse than this. It is not a 5 only since it does not have that extra level I expect in a higher level hotel, but met my expectations.

Close to the Metro (Acropoli) and the Plaka

Posted 20-Jul-2015
Pros: It is close to the Acropolis, the Acropoli metro, the Plaka and a self use laundry. There are plenty of restaurants close by (Manh Manh is great).
Cons: Get rid of the grotty floor covering!
Location: Look at what we liked about the hotel.
The welcome was very good from the staff with helpful information about restaurants, metro and so on. After that it didn't quite live up to the beginning. The bed and pillows were okay but nothing more. The carpet was not a carpet. It was some sort of hardwearing jute/bamboo/nylon woven material that was hard and tacky to walk on. The bathroom was just acceptable with grouting that I would be embarrassed to own up to doing. It also had a shower in a bath with a shower curtain! The breakfast on the other hand was reasonable with bacon, eggs, breads, brioches toasting facility, some fresh and canned fruits, cakes and cold meats. we only had the toast, bacon and eggs so we can't comment on the rest.We would have like to vary our breakfasts with cereals sometimes but only cornflakes and chocolate puffs were on offer. The coffee is machine made, drinkable but machine made.

Good location, outdated rooms.

Posted 16-Jul-2015
Pros: location and breakfast
Location is great! Next to subway station, Acropolis, and Museum. But the room is so outdated that feels like stepping into the 80's. Balcony view is awful. TV is tiny. Breakfast, on the other hand, is nice.

Location. Location, Location!

Posted 15-Jul-2015
Pros: Lovely hotel well situated with delightful staff. Elevator is tiny but very smooth ride. Tub is deep and a lovely soak after a long day of walking.
Cons: Some inconsistency with the replacement of towels each day. But the desk always sent up more as soon as you called.
Location: Best location in town. Short walk to transportation, Acropolis, Museum, Theatre, ancient sites, Plaka, even Syntagma Sq. if you didn't want to metro.
The hotel is a block from the metro, right on the edge of the Plaka, but quieter than being in it. 3 blocks from the Arch of Hadrian and Temple of Zeus, 2 blocks to the new Acropolis Museum and 1 more block on to the back entrance to the Acropolis itself. A much less busy entrance pointed out by the wonderful hotel staff who also suggested getting out tickets (combo) at the Temple of Zeus so we wouldn't have to wait in line at the Acropolis. Wonderful to walk right by the long line! Returned each day to fresh juice and cakes in reception and a terrific breakfast each morning. We had a 6 a.m. flight and the hotel arranged for a van to take out large party to the airport leaving at 3:30 and let us know they would still have something out for us to eat before we left. Cereals, juice, fruit, assorted pastries already laid out on the buffet. I've never had a hotel do that. They made terrific recommendations for other meals including Strofi's with great food and an amazing view of the Parthenon.

Pros:

Excellent hotel in the heart of the city

Posted 12-Jul-2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: All was great
Location: Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, National Gardens, Temple of Zeus, Theatre of Dionysos, Syntagme Square, Plaka
The hotel is located in the heart of Athens, It's a walking distance to most attractions. Rooms are big and clean, beds are comfortable, hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by the huge selection at breakfast: fresh bread, eggs, cold cuts, yougurt, fruits. We will definitely return.

Very nice hotel close to Acropolis and Plaka

Posted 11-Jul-2015
Pros: Location, price, amenities, friendly staff, quick check in.
Cons: Nothing, really.
Location: Acropolis Plaka restaurants and shops.
Very helpful staff in a well-located, reasonably-priced hotel around corner from Acropolis metro stop. Many very nearby good restaurants and shops. Easy walk to Acropolis. Highly recommend!

Only stayed one night on the way through Athens. Surprisingly large, well appointed room. Very clean. Lovely, helpful staff. Super fast check in and check out. Good breakfast.
