“Just Perfect!”

Airotel Parthenon is everything everyone else said in their reviews and then some. Perfect location. Half block from Metro that takes you everywhere even to the airport. Don't bother with expensive cab when easy Metro for 6 euro at your steps takes you to the airport in 40 minutes. (My cab to the hotel took 65 minutes and 34 euro, wish I had known about the metro). Hotel at the base of the Acropolis and close walking distance from "everything". Staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Called me by name when I first entered their door as if they were waiting for me. Rooms were emaculate and the breakfast buffet fills you until your evening meal. Eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, fruits, breads, cereals, great coffee and of course Greek specialties like stuffed grape leaves, cheese, and cold cuts. All served in a sunny, white tableclothed dining room.

“Wonderful hotel”

My family and I stayed at the hotel (2 adults and 1 teenager). The hotel is on a small sidestreet in the Plaka, just a stones throw away from the entrance to the Acropolis/Parthenon. The metro is also just down the street. There is so much to do around the hotel since it is in the Plaka. It is a smaller hotel, very simple in decor and furnishings. Our room was very clean and very typical of a European style hotel. The staff was always very helpful and pleasant. We really appreciated their help in getting a rental car (which was delivered and picked up from the hotel) and gave us maps, etc. to drive to Delphi. They made it very easy. The breakfast that is included is the same everyday, but it was quite varied as to the choices of food to eat. We will definitely stay here again.

“I doubt you could find a better hotel in Athens”

Location for sightseeing was better than excellent. Location for underground was excellent. Location for restaurants was excellent. Reception staff were better then excellent. Bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was very good. Only downside was the carpets didn't look clean.

“Best little secret in Athens”

This was probably one of the best vacations we have ever had. The friendly, professional multi lingual staff was glad to assist in scheduling our adventure tours and catering to our every need. You were greeted upon every entry and exit of the hotel. WIFI worked great, and there is a computer for guest use in the lobby. Our room was a lil small but very nice with a king sized bed, a dressing vanity, very nice closet with safe, and of course the mini bar. Supplied was a blow dryer and forgotten essentials and was serviced every day of the week. The balcony had a bistro set to enjoy the lovely view of the orange laden fruit tree lined street. You are within walking distance to the greatest ancient ruin and sites Athens has to offer, the museums, cafe's and shops galore in the PLAKA area. (Very safe area, felt like home.) The bus stop was only 1 1/2 blocks away. The continental breakfast was Great with sliced meats and cheeses, fresh and dried fruits, cereals, yogurts, jellies and chocolates, fresh breads, crescents and buns, tea, coffees, juices and milk, not to forget some traditional Greek foods.

“A very good base for sightseeing.”

We chose this hotel for a short family break (two adults and two older teenagers) due to good reviews and a location close to the Acropolis and metro. In this it certainly lived up to the previous feedback in being comfortable with clean rooms and bathrooms, working aircon, welcoming public areas and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was good quality and certainly enough to set one up for the morning. The surrounding area feels safe and is only 2 minutes walk from the metro, 3-4 minutes from the new Acropolis museum, 10 minutes or so from the main Acropolis entrance and about the same from the heart of the Plaka. Highly recommended, we would certainly stay there again.

“Perfect location, excellent service”

The Airotel was a friendly, welcoming hotel in a perfect location. We felt at ease and at home. The staff were professional and relaxed. It was convenient to the night life and all the major sights. Breakfast varied and fresh The lobby was comfortable and well used but the bar was on an upper level and rather cut off but this in no way marred our stay at the hotel. We will defnintely use thehotel again when visitng Athens. The rooms were tastefully decorated and spacious and could not understand why other reviewers said the beds were uncomfortable because we found them very comfortable. Our only complaint was that the carpets although modern looking were rather dusty and left made our feet dirty. Couldnt understand this as the rooms were very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. Once we had found ourselve on another floor away from the rest of the party we requested being moved. We were made to feel that this was in no way a problem to resolve (we have been in many hotels were a request such as this has been met with disdain). We were immediately transferred. Some of the teenagers in our group missed breakfast and once again the staff told us to take whatever we wanted to their rooms. When one of our party left for an early flight they opened the breakfast room at 6.30 for them and had breakfast prepared before their journey! Even the night porter heated baby milk at midnight. Definintely recommend the Airotel Parthenon.

“Excellent location”

Great location in a very safe area, 5 minutes from metro Acropoli station. Very close to the Plaka and Acropolis complex. Nice walk and felt safe returning back to hotel late in the evening. Very good room service who kept the room very clean everyday. Reception staffs were extremely helpful and all spoke english. Because of the location either we used metro or walked. Certainly would stay there again.
