    “Impressed”

    The Hilton is located on the waterfront close to the railway station and the city centre. On-site parking is available (at a small fee for residents). For the more adventurous there is a casino opposite the hotel that's open until the waking hours.

    “Booked 6 weeks in advance with guaranteed reservation and they turned me away”

    I booked this hotel 6 weeks ago and got a guaranteed late arrival reservation. When I arrived at 10pm after a flight, they said (not very friendlily) that they were full and couldn't take me. Not Expedia's fault as far as I can see, a taxi driver later said they do this to lots of people. Just before me a single lady travelling on her own had the same treatment. I did get sent to another hotel and didn't have to sleep on the streets, but this was highly unsatisfactory. Advise book elsewhere.

    “One Night Stay”

    Very nice hotel, very comfortable and right along the water. They offered a special price on a three course meal in their restaurant and we took advantage of the offer. Food was lovely although a tour group that came in after us soaked up a lot of the waitstaff's attention.

    “Not impressed”

    Breakfast was excellent. Room was extremely dusty which gave an appearance of being shabby. Bedside light was quite ridiculous. I had to get out of bed to turn the light out at the wall. We left our hotel room to do some shopping before checking out. On return to our room it had already been cleaned and the beds changed. Very disappointed as I had heard good reports of The Hilton Hotel in Dundee.

    “can't wait to go back”

    this is a lovely hotel and would recommend it to anybody the staff are very good and go out of their way to help. Breakfast was the only meal that we had this was very good plenty of choice for all and lots of staff to look after you. Our room looked out over the river tay and the road bridge over to Fife very nice

    “Excellent breakfast”

    I stayed two days on a short visit to Dundee. I used the hotel mainly for sleeping and breakfast. The breakfast buffet was among the best hotel breakfasts I can remember. The room was excellent. There was a minor issue with my room entry card that didn't allow me to open the room the second evening. The floor manager diagnosed it as a dead battery on the door unit. Although I had to call a floor manager to open when needing to use the room, it didn't feel like a big aggravation.

    “Convenient & Downtown”

    Hotel is in a great location downtown, next to the river. Parking extremely limited, but overall experience at hotel fine.
