Pros: the size of the room
Cons: sound proofing was woken very early by someone banging on a nearby door
Location: Close to Manchester airport

ideal for train station and town center

Posted 26-Jun-2014
Pros: Its location, and the friendly staff
Cons: In need of updating the bedrooms. New power showers
Location: We went to Duham Nessy Had a wonderful day out
Train station was within a ten minutes walk (and I walk slowly), as was the town center. People are friendy and the place is very clean Bus services run well (however mostly on the hour) Good pubs around the town, especially the Wheatsheaf that does home cooked food.

Very good value for money.

Pros: Convenient location. Friendly staff. Good (free) parking. Airport shuttle if needed.
Cons: Food a bit expensive.
Location: Very close by there is public transportation (bus or train) into Manchester and out to Chester and Wales (train). Town is charming.
This is our fourth stay at this hotel. Although the rooms are rather small, they are well equipped, nicely renovated and very clean. The hotel is well located - easy 5 minute walk into town and transportation. Convenient airport shuttle. Very nice breakfast and friendly, helpful staff.

Great hotel! Lovely decor

Visited Manchester for a night out. Stayed here as it was very cheap and the standard of accommodation was absolutely fabulous. Resembles a boutique hotel. Definitely exceeds the expectations for the price.

Good value and close to the airport

Posted 22-May-2014
Pros: Price, location, general ambience
Cons: Nothing much that I experienced.
Location: Wasn't there long enough to comment, sorry
Stayed overnight for a business meeting the next day. The hotel is recently refurbished and generally in good condition. The bed was a little on the hard side, but some like it that way. The shower was fine, the TV and the wifi both worked fine. The price was less than a quarter of what the airport hotels were charging, and a taxi ride there would only take maybe 20 minutes, so a good alternative for the budget traveller. I arrived by train and the train/tram station is about 10 mins walk from the hotel. Breakfast was the usual hotel fare - fine if unexceptional.

In need of a complete update and way over priced

Posted 16-May-2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Pull down and rebuild
Location: Luckily only staying one night as flying out the next day
Room dark and condition poor. Beds old and need to be replaced. Reception staff seemed totally disinterested when we complained.

Very pleased with Best Western Cresta Court Hotel. It was nice and clean and conveniently located near Manchester airport and the city of Manchester. Thanks to Expedia, the price was excellent as well.

Not brilliant..

Posted 11-May-2014
Cons: Clean rooms and get rid of smell.
I arrived and the first room given had an awful smell, the staff were helpful and did swap my room, the second room was better, But facilities were rudimentary and looked tired. Breakfast was good value.

Would stay here again

Posted 06-May-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Have at least some small wardbrobes for clothes. Bigger selection of food for breakfast.
Location: Great location to visit Old Trafford, Imperial War Museum, but actually with the tram service, it is easy to reach city center, or other attractions.
Not the first BW hotel we tried. Room small, but clean, only problem of having no wardrobe for the clothes, one have to put them on open shelves. As we stayed only two nights, this was no problem. Bathroom clean, waterpressure a bit low. Had also breakfast, which was not bad, but expected a bit bigger variety, especially on bakery. Staffs were kind, helpful. Location was perfect, close to train terminal Altrincham, so even with public transport, it is easy to reach from the airport. Good choice for few days stay.
