“Perfect for Chamonix Skiing”

I would highly recommend Hotel Richemond as an hotel accomodation option for anyone looking to stay in Chamonix. Great staff, location and facilities for skiing.

“We loved Hotel Richemond”

This hotel was just wonderful. All of the staff members were very polite, friendly and helpful. The view from out room was outstanding! Our room was very charming, and after learning about the history, I could imagine what it was like in years past. We do plan on returning to Chamonix in the next year, and we plan on staying at the Hotel Richemond again.

“Great place for a 2 star hotel!”

Great place for a 2 star hotel! Stayed 1 week, while on a skiing holiday. The hotel is located in a perfect spot in the town centre, right by the ski bus stop, tourist information office and all the shops and restaurants. Great mountain views from the rooms. Service is friendly and helpful and the rooms are cleaned daily. Don't expect any ultra luxury, but good value for money.

“A brilliant hotel in Chamonix, will go there again”

The Richemond Hotel is a manor converted into a hotel, and as such it has spacious rooms and grand decorations, with a lovely large fireplace in the lobby. Everything is well designed and comfortable. It has retained all its Art Deco fixtures, giving it a certain cachet and charm. Our room had no tea and coffee-making facilities though, and at night, the British pub down the road was at times very noisy, with football and rugby supporters thinking it was OK to scream their lungs out until midnight (usual embarrassment from other Brits, basically). The room was also too well heated (we had to open the windows to sleep properly). But overall I wouldn’t change a thing! Breakfast was complimentary and delicious, except coffee and tea, which were weak and did not taste good. Anything else was fantastic. The fresh bread and croissants and pains-au-chocolat were superb. The view from any room is gorgeous: facing the Mont-Blanc, looking over the snowy slopes. A delight on the eye. The hotel’s cellar is fitted with ski and snowboard lockers, and the customers can access these by the backdoor, directly from the bus stop, after a day out skiing. Once everything is locked up, the customers can then enter the reception area free of equipment, and go to their rooms for a leisurely, mandatory, tired-muscle soaking hot bath (they haven't got showers). In short, the best holiday I have ever had, and the hotel greatly contributed to this. We cannot wait to go there again.

“we loved it”

super friendly service, best position imaginable, wonderful views of Mont Blanc from our room, central yet a little sat back from the pedestrian strip, quiet at night, great breakfast, easy parking - would go back there in a flash

“Feels like home”

Hotel Richemond is all about the people who work there. Everyone was friendly and "bend over backwards helpful". The hotel has an old rustic feel, but is comfortable and was really a great deal. Breakfast was great and the lobby was very comfortable. The room was simple, but clean and spacious. The location in town and right next to the bus (to access skiing) made it the most convenient option for me. I would go back in a heartbeat just to visit the people I met in the hotel. I didn't see another hotel in Cham that I liked better, for the price.

“What more do you need”

The rooms were cute and had everything you needed - also right in the centre of town. I had to leave early and they were only too happy to accommodate an early breakfast. Excellent, definitely recommend.
