“No Heat”

This hotel was close to the arena where we were going. The hotel had a bad smell to it and our room had no heat. We were also missing our wash clothes and hand towels and there were only two bath towels for our use. The other people we were with said their bathroom was not clean. For one night it was okay.

“Convenient but in need of TLC”

This hotel is in an ideal location for any activity in downtown Albany, but it is clearly in need of major remodelling and repair. Our room door looked dangerously close to falling out of the frame; the many signs warning guests to lock up their car and valuables suggests that the hotel is not safe.

“Very Dissapointed”

The hotel lobby and floors smell like stale tobacco smoke; it's disgusting--even on the no smoking floors. Mold is coming thru the ceiling in what looks like a fairly newly painted bathroom. Rooms are creepy---basically because the hotel is so old and upkeep almost non existant.

“Avoid!”

Old hotel, moldy, smells horrible, not clean at all.

“Room was never cleaned before!”

I stayed there in Feb. 2011 for a birthday celebration, and I'am NOT picky at all....but NEVER AGAIN. 1. Non-smoking room smelled exactly like CIGARETTES. 2. There was GUMB stuck to the head board, leading me to BELIEVE that they do not "really" clean the rooms up after the guest leave. 3. On top of the TV stand WE FOUND A rolled BLUNT!!!!!! they did come down to the room to remove the gumb and the blunt from the room. this place is so disgusting!!!!!

“Poor service and accommodations”

The front desk clerk did not know the password for the wireless internet. Our bathroom had hair on the floor and in the sink. There was a cigarette butt in the toilet in our non smoking room and the carpet was dirty. Overall a bad experience.

“Bad experience”

This was the most overrated hotel I have ever stayed in. The outside swimming pool was empty and filled with debris and weeds. The driveways and sidewalks were cracked and littered with cigarette butts. The surrounding buildings were vacant and falling apart. The staff was not friendly.

“Bad service, room shortfalls, and double-charged my credit card”

We checked in late. The room did not have a TV remote and the light in the bathroom did not work. We called the front desk guy and he could do nothing because he can't leave his desk. He offered a $10 discount -- whatever. I find out a couple of days later that the hotel billed me in addition to what Expedia already billed. Other than all of that the hotel is great...

“Horrible Stay!!!”

Let me just say that the overall condition of the hotel made us switch to another one.....the very same day!!!

“Disappointed”

I was unimpressed with the hotel and its quality. The room was dirty as well was the hotel campus. In addition, the idea of a continental breakfast was three-day old danish from Sam's Wholesale, or something like that.
