“Good but not Great”

the room was pretty clean, although the air conditioner produced a foul odor while in use. I did have a little trouble getting a second ice bucket, they said every room gets only one, but the buckets were so small, and they only have 5 fridges for guests, and all of them were being used by long term guests. overall i was satisfied with my stay, but i will probably try a different hotel for my next visit to Canton, OH.

Microtel's staff was wonderful! I needed a refrigerator and microwave and they moved both in to my room while I was registering. The continental breakfast had a variety of bagels, fruit, cereals and juices in addition to coffee. My room (two doubles) was clean. Didn't have enough shampoo but that was easily remedied. Overall, very satisfied with my stay. I'll stay here the next time I'm in Canton.

“Not Good, Even for Cheapies Like Us!”

When we booked here, we certainly didn't expect luxury at the price we paid- but they offered a pool for our 3-year-old to pass the time if necessary, a continental breakfast and free wi-fi, so we thought we'd be satisfied, despite reading a few negative reviews. I booked two rooms, one for my parents and one for us...I should have listened to those bad reviews! We bypassed a slightly more expensive hotel across the street to save money, but we got dirty beds and bathrooms, a screaming neighbor in the next room, and some questionable people hanging out by the side entrance when we got back from dinner one night. In the hotel's defense, they did change our rooms when we complained about the condition, but not before they told us we could change our own sheets if they were dirty...not great customer service! In her new room, my mom found old coffee in the coffee maker, and was SO done- can't blame her! We didn't use the pool, but we ate at the breakfast area for our early-rising son, and it was just okay...only a few sad apples, and the rest was basically sugary cereals and waffles from their new waffle maker, but with no syrup to pour on them. We really couldn't complain, since it was free, but thought I should share! Overall, it's an okay place to sleep if you don't need anything fancy...but with all the negatives we encountered, I can't give this hotel a positive review or recommend it. Skip this, check out one of the many other hotel options in the area!

Room was clean. Service was not great - Front desk person seemed to not like her job. Good place to stay for one night.

Normal Microtel sized rooms, met my needs, good price.

“Won't return with whole family”

Room was really small for a family of four. If traveling alone or as a couple I would recommend but not for a family stay. Also the pool was very shallow so our teenagers did not enjoy at all.

“Should not have the Wyndham name”

When I booked this hotel I think I was expecting too much since it had the Wyndham name. It just was not as clean as I would like when at a hotel. I could not take a shower because there was a head but not way to turn it on so I had to take a sit down bath which takes too long when you are on the road. The rugs in the hallway and in my room were just not clean! The morning staff was not friendly at all.
