“great escape”

Great, quiet location yet close to attractions. A little off the beaten path and roads are very narrow getting through town. Once at the hotel, it is beautiful and quaint. Scenery is amazing. Room was big and comfortable. English speaking TV was limited to CNN but there is way too much to do and see rather than sit and watch TV. The beds are small by American standards but they are comfortable. The restaurant is good. We recommend the turkey breast and the chocolate cake. Of course, schnitzel is always a good stand by for the not so adventurous eater. The menu is limited and will get old after a few days. There is a Lidl (grocery store) and McDonalds close by if you get tired of the restaurant food. We took day trips to Salzburg and to Liechtensteinklamm and admired the beauty that is Austria. I am sure that there are closer hotels to the attractions that we visited, but we loved this hotel. We could not keep our kids out of the pool. The front desk and wait staff all spoke English and were always pleasant. We recommend this hotel without any reservations or hesitations.

“da non ritornare”

carino l'hotel e siolato, nel silenzio della natura. Accogliente il personale ma all'intenro appare come un labirinto con tante cose in poco spazio, la SPA assolutamente scadente, con personale che lavora di fretta, così anzichè rilassarmi mi son trovata a vestirmi di corsa dopo un massaggio. Piscina fredda, tante saune in poco spazio. Colazione soddisfacente. Non ci tornerò sebbene sia in una bella posizione.

“hotel Hubertushof attention to the cleaning of beds”

After 8 pm there is a risk that you find person that dont speaki english annoyed if you do not understand German. I found the bed full of pubic hair and blood on the duvet, the request to have a porter for the luggage to the reception person was shocked. Strange for a hotel with 4 stars? Only 4-star service at one of the waiters at the restaurant

“Panorama fantastico - SPA degna di nota”

Eravamo 1 coppia + 1 singolo c/cagnolino al seguito in 2 camere. L'hotel è in una splendida posizione sia dal punto di vista panoramico che strategico per visitare Salisburgo e dintorni. Il luogo è tranquillo ed immerso nel verde. Da segnalare la SPA con piscina interna e idromassaggio con vista sulla valle e montagne antistanti. Il personale è stato cordiale e disponibile. Mentre le parti comuni sono tenute in modo impeccabile ( sembra siano state ristrutturate da poco..) non si può dire lo stesso per la nostra camera che risentiva un pò il passare degli anni (moquette,intonaco dei muri e materassi ). Ultima nota positiva : in questo hotel ed in Austria in generale i cani sono ben accetti ovunque. Comunque soddisfatti pensiamo di ritornare in inverno per goderci un bel paesaggio innevato....

Area recommendations

Il paese vicino Hallein poichè ci sono vari supermercati e locali. La birreria a Kaltenhausen nelle vicinanze di Hallein. La miniera di sale e la funivia che parte a St.Leonhard.
