“Hotel met my expectations”

“Best in Dorado beach Acapulco”

I loved everything about this hotel. Not the first time here and will always come back to this hotel until i buy a house in Acapulco next to the beach. lol. Its the convenience and views that attract me to this hotel.

“good deal for the money”

Everything was great the hotel was what you'd expect for the money but the view and location were unbeatable.

Area recommendations

If you are into the club and shopping scene this is the area you want to be in it is right in the middle of everything.

“Good choice”

It´s a very comfortable hotel. It has great view specially the highest floors. The employers and waiters are very friendly. The room is very big, clean and safe. It has all the services in the room. The pool area is clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is good.

Area recommendations

The city is a bit dirty, but we spend a good time at the clubs and restaurants near to the hotel. Its a good zone, full of bars and different activities.

Nightlife

There are a lot of good places to go. Cheapest places are bars around the hotel. The clubs are awesome, and freebar.

“Good hotel near Acapulco's Bay Beach”

PROS: The hotel had a very cozy appearance and good amenities, including all the 3+star hotel standards (massages, room service, a restaurant, pool, blah blah). The place is most certainly legit. THE WATER IS DRINKABLE. The view from my room was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!. This alone is a huge PLUS for this hotel, I can't emphasize that enough. The location is fantastic for beach aficiionados, the beach nearby is very cozy. The sand is a little bit coarse, but the waves are extremely gentle and make for great swimming. Other hotel amenities: free wifi, towel service, and a small little private beach open during the day (protected from surrounding beaches by gigantic boulder walls.) This makes this hotel PERFECT FOR FAMILIES. CONS: The beds are a little hard. The pillows were also somewhat hard and beat up. The neighborhood has gotten a lot dirtier and rougher in the past years, and the restaurants in the neighborhood aren't the best. The room has linoleum flooring, which is great for cleaning because sand likely gets tracked in all the time, but is not exactly cozy. The beaches in this area are REALLY FULL OF PEDDLERS trying to sell you junk. There are some odd characters in the neighborhood, so if travelling in a group stick together and you'll be fine. (I was accosted by a wannabe pimp after having breakfast--this was at 11am).

Outdoors or beach

In this part of Acapulco, the sand is coarser, (but very manageable), but the waters are warmer and the waves much calmer. During almost any time of the year, it is gorgeous and heavenly to go to this beach. I don't know what the pollution level in the water is: just don't drink it!!!!

“Good Short-term Option”

The decor is simple, but clean. The room was spacious. The staff was very accomodating and eagerly suggested local restaurants for dinner and breakfast. The hotel is located on the water and has a small, private beach as well as a pool. It is also reasonably priced.

“Fine Acapulco Hotel”

The king room was much larger than expected and located on the corner facing the bay with a balcony wrapping around the corner. 2nd room booked for our group with 2 double beds was adjacent, as expected. There were no additional hotel charges or taxes for the rooms above what had already been settled with Expedia and the whole experience related to the hotel was smooth and uneventful. This was our first hotel booking through Expedia and we were extremely please with the entire experience.

Getting there

We arrived into Acapulco airport and traveled to the hotel by taxi. There is an ATM and taxi stand inside the airport after clearing customs/imigration. However, a better price on the taxi can sometimes be negotiated outside with the taxi directly rather than the flat rate charged at the taxi stand.
