“A Reasonably Priced Boutique Hotel”

They had wash clothes! (The only problem I had was on the second night, the power went out in the neighborhood and the restaurant needed to shut down.)

“Hôtel calme propre avec un accueil très professionnel;”

Excellent hôtel, situé dans un quartier résidentiel, un peu éloigné à pied du centre, mais arrêt de bus à proximité, calme, possédant également un bar brasserie et un restaurant. Chambre confortable et agréable, propre. Un service irréprochable, avec une réception à notre écoute, réactive à nos demandes (taxi, location voiture, itinéraire, etc...) toujours avec le sourire, malgré notre modeste pratique de la langue de Shakespeare. A recommander,

Area recommendations
La ville d'Aberdeen malgré son côté austère, mérite une visite, avec de nombreux musées( the gordon highlanders museum )ou curiosités, ses pubs dont "le Prince de Galles", ses nombreuses grandes surfaces. Le quartier de l'université dans le vieil Aberdeen, et le circuit des châteaux tout autour de la région mérite le détour. "trail Castle" Renommée pour accueillir de grands groupes liés au pétrole, la ville et sa région sont agréables, avec notamment de nombreux golfs abordables en prix. Point de départ pour les Highlands, et le Loch Ness, nous avons apprécié notre séjour, lié à la présence de notre fils qui poursuit ses études à l'université.
When to go
Sans doute la période la plus propice se situe entre mai et septembre, nous y sommes allés fin octobre, temps ensoleillé, quelques bruines, soirée fraîche, attention la neige est fréquente en hiver.

Vol avec British air ways au départ de Genève, aéroport proche de la ville, particularité de nombreux vols directs vers Francfort avec KLM
Getting around
Ne pas hésiter à vous munir de bonnes chaussures, ville facile d'accès à pied, le bus et les taxis sont également d'excellents moyens malgré le coût peut être un peu élevé,
What to pack
En période hivernale, il fait froid ne pas oublier des vêtements chauds et de bonnes chaussures de marche, éviter les talons à moins de se déplacer en voiture!
Must see
rien de particulier, fiez vous au guide touristique de la ville et ses environs, mais ne partez pas sans avoir visité quelques châteaux, et fréquenté quelques pubs

Il y a de quoi faire à tous les prix, attention au taux de change
Dining
Bof, nourriture un peu lourde sans recherche particulière, on y trouve de tout, dont des pizzas, mais il faut mettre le prix pour avoir un repas digne de ce nom et équilibré.

Visite des châteaux avec tout ce que cela comporte, (histoire, mythe, superstition) golf si vous êtes adeptes, car nombreux et abordables en prix, animations nautiques également

Soirée en pub, pour l'animation et la convivialité, des concerts également,

De grandes compétitions de golfs, des concerts, du théâtre, tout ce que l'on peut trouver dans une grande ville qui plus est fréquentée par des cadres, des hommes d'affaires, possédant un certain pouvoir d'achat. (proximité des plates formes pétrolières)

Pour la plage oui pour la ballade le long, sinon, si pas frileux, go, ballade en campagne ou en montagne proche.
