“What more can you ask for?”

Clean well presented hotel, bar and food good. Best feature was the staff, they were brilliant...... no wonder they win awards. It will be my next hotel choice in Aberdeen.

This was extremely well managed-good attention to safety detail "paramount" and obvious. Small rooms (like all holiday Inns we have stayed at) but very clean. Staff have a good attitude and are helpful.

“Overpriced Aberdeen Hotel”

This hotel was a victim of its location. The guests consisted of Oil Workers in transit and Business men using the hotel lobby as an office. The bar prices were very expensive. The breakfast was spoiled by the Sales Executive using an adjacent table to have a Breakfast meeting with his assistant. They both proceeded to make annoyingly loud phone calls. The hotel itself was comfortable but expensive. The hotel lobby had all the charm of "The Office".

I cant say anything against the hotel. I know the area very well and getting around was no problem. However it is out of the way and if you like to wander around the shops at night or later in the day its not convenient. However it is on a main bus route for non car travellers.

lovely big room, plenty power points, very clean , less than a minute's walk from the venue, great tv, lovely breakfast, fantastic value for money, receptionist wasn't very cheery and had to queue for lift - the only (very minor) minus points, lots of free parking,

“Freezing”

Everything was great, except that the room was freezing. It took several hours of shivering underneath the one blanket that was provided before we could get warm.

“Efficient, clean and friendly staff”

If you are attending a function at the exhibition centre, then this is the ideal hotel but if you are thinking of going shopping at Union St, the taxi ride to the city centre was abit steep. However, I only found out on my last day that there is a bus service from the main road nearby to the city. The standard room was of a good quality but on our first night, we were waken by the loud revving of car engines from our room on the first floor. It turned out to be a number of cars going in circles at the exhibition car park. The staff in the hotel was pleasant and friendly.

Good hotel if you don't mind being out of city centre. But not so far away you can't still acess everything.
