If I knew it would be so good I would have arranged my stay for longer. Loved the town, the people, the hotel, the bar, the pool and fountains......... And especially the friendly and helpful reception ladies and lovely Pedrina in the bar.
My wife and I have travelled round Spain from Barcelona to Gibraltar and up to Ciudad Real and Madrid and stayed in many hotels and yours is the best by far.

I found the entire experience delightful. The service excellent, the help dynamic and responsive. The hotel is exquisitely maintained and grandly elegant, well-located and picturesque. I loved every moment of my stay there. The quality, gourmet Spanish food on a daily basis helped me to save money and time searching for top-quality restaurants in the city. I will return every chance I have when I am in Ciudad Real.

The best part of our stay was the concierge staff. They were patient and friendly throughout our stay. They swapped between English and Spanish depending on whatever we felt like speaking. They answered all of our questions and made phone calls then and there to resolve any issues.
The restaurant was good, but pricey. We felt that the restaurant across the street was better in price and quality.
The beds were rock hard - a common European trend, unfortunately. And the original windows, though charming, are terribly small. Not much natural light in the room.
The maids did an excellent job tidying the room during the day.
The pool was staffed and had towels free of charge.
Overall, an excellent place to stay.

This hotel was chosen as an overnight stop on the drive south to Andalucia and southern Spain. Although it was some 20km off the E5 the diversion was well worth it. Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Alcazar de San Juan and has a gated entrance with car park in the hotel grounds only a few yards from reception. Our room was spacious and relaxing with a large sofa. There is a small bar on the ground floor and access to a "wellness" centre for guests. The dining/breakfast room is also on the ground floor. Buffet style breakfast was very good. A very comfortable nights stop.
