"A small quiet hotel that is still very convenient to get around historic Venice. The only negative was the size of shower. It is so small I had to squeeze in so good luck if you drop the soap. The hotel also provided a nice Italian style breakfast buffet which was nice to start the day."

"Checked in early and although our room was not ready we were able to leave our cases and venture out. Reception was very helpful explaining trams and routes to follow in Venice. Hotel is handy for the tram service, which is great takes approx 10/15 minutes and costs €1.50 each way. Hotel is clean but could do with a little TLC. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet, with plenty of choice. Even had a selection of Gluten Free (had to ask but they were happy to supply) which was appreciated....

"The Hotel is just a stones throw from the Airport, takes only 20 minutes to walk. Arrived at the hotel around 9pm and was checked in by a very kind gentleman who also swapped out my TV which was having a few technical issues. Tickets for the No5 bus into Venice the next day were from the helpful lady in the small shop just up the road - another 20 minutes later and you're in Plaza Roma. After my 2 night stay I had an early morning flight so after making breakfast in the hotel I left to walk to...

Only thing was our room was right next to the breakfast area so we always got woken up by people going there and also can hear people late at night at the restaurant below but not very troublesome and we enjoyed our whole stay regardless"

"Pros........ Price was resonable fir the stay. Staff friendly and welcoming. Quiet if closing windows, but no loud noises which caused a problem. Locality to shops, transport and walking. Neutral......... Breakfast was basic, but searved enough to set up for the day....would like some hot food like saugages, bacon etc...instead of ham and cheese, but not a big issue...... Bed sheets clean but old fashion beds spreads. Negatives..... Hotel rooms need updating. Need duvets instead of...

"Hotel Sorriso is currently rated at two star level. The room allocated to my wife and I was at least three star level. It was large, well furnished and suited us very well. There was one thing that would have made it perfect, and that was the provision of a kettle and a couple of cups. When checking out, we discussed this with the manager, who told us that she provides kettles and cups upon request. Perhaps guests should be advised of that option. Otherwise, it was an extremely satisfying stay...

"Stayed 4 nights. So close to train station and water ferry stations. Room was very comfortable and relaxing. Staff were friendly and obliging. "

"The room conditions were meh at best. The door wasn’t able to be opened from the inside without the key. Meaning if you took the key with you and someone was still inside the room, they would be locked in even if the door itself wasn’t locked. Check in was done at the hotel next door which wasn’t a problem. The staff next door was nice though. If I was able to open the door without a key from the inside I’d give it a 3/5. Cheap room. Wasn’t able to use the TV, view was blocked by the platform...
