Adequate 3-star accommodation but we were housed ina room around the back of the albergó where there was a strong smell of fish! Reasonable breakfast and very handily placed forRialto and San Marco areas.

Very nice place in the middle of Venice. Be aware that it's kind of a maze to get there from the port. There's no taxis or car on the streets of Venice which means that you have to walk all the time anyway. Restaurants are by the dozens, shopping is everywhere. Have fun because this hotel is in the middle of everything.

For staff, one gentleman was very pleasant, the rest were so-so. Location was unbeatable! The room was VERY hot, even with lower temperatures. Our room was INFESTED with mosquitos. No other guests had bites like our family, children suffered hundreds of bites on their faces and arms. I would caution guests to check room before check-in. Again, the mosquitos were horrible, but nowhere else in Venice did we even see on mosquito except in out rooms. We bought bug spray and bit medicine, but were useless against the amount of bites we suffered.

The property was clean and in a convenient location, however building work was taking place outside of our room, we were not advised of this at booking or during check in, when we requested to be moved because of this, staff were surprisingly rude and dismissive. The property is in need of updating and maintenance, so it would be wise to check on this before making a reservation.

Terrible reviews, horrible looking place and we requested a refund through Expedia multiple times but they refused! We ended up booking other accommodation and were out of pocket $500 but wouldn’t stay here! Steer clear, horrible!

This was a last minute reservation for us as our travel plans changed while in Venice. While the staff and hotel looked and operated fine, our room was a little odd. The room decor harkens back to old venice which it self was fine, but the windows were blocked off and therefore we had an interior only room with what had poor lighting and felt stuffy. The windows being closed was probably for a good reason, but we were not told ahead of time.

Great location, good price. Beds uncomfortable and only two very small pillows on a double bed. Asked for extra was told there were no more pillows.
