"Modern hostel that feels more like a funky hotel. Nice nightlife with dis and music in the evening , very clean modern urban look. Safe parking next door. Rooms have spacious shower and toilet. Each bed has charging point and reading light and a lockable drawer. Staff were helpful and friendly. Staff are there 24 hours. Its just around the corner from main station so you can take train for a couple of euros to Venice Santa croche. They have quite good breakfast for reasonable price which you can...

"Generator is a fun place, well designed and at a perfect location for exploring Venice. The people who work there are very kind and helpful and the common spaces are appealing. Good breakfasts and snacks at any time. Sleeping in a large dormitory is the deal here, but my dormitory was very stuffy unless you knew to open the window wide before bedtime. The lockers under the beds worked well, and so did the phone charging plug by the bed, but the light by my bed was gone and was never replaced....

"I have limited qualms with the locations or venue itself, but the idea that we cannot return post-0030, pre-0700 each night is absolutely absurd. Put a code on the door. With all of the shows and opportunities Venice presents, requiring people to come back to their apartment at some time is archaic. The sun doesn’t set until 10PM in the summer. "

"Room was large and it was really clean. Also have great soundproof walls as we barely hear other guests. A large supermarket and McDonalds nearby with around 8 minutes walk, very convenient when we wanted to cook dinner ourselves using the mini kitchen. Also near to Mestre train station with around 10 minutes walk, surrounded by many different hotels and you can feel that the road is safe "

"The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was comfortable even more so once we worked the central heating out. Breakfast selection was very good although the "hot" food was barely warm and consisted only of scrambled egg and small pieces of bacon."
