"What can I say, it’s Murano! Room was nice, but overly warm. Apparently, there is a regulation that you cannot have AC before a certain date. But the hotel was very clean and for the most part, quiet. Since we were hot we had to have the window open and there was noise outside, as well as a few mosquitos. "

"This is a gorgeous property but not for anyone who does not plan on commuting by boat to do anything than wander its island. The Hotel shuttle costs €15 per person per stay and doesn't start until 9am. I wanted to begin seeing Everything in Venice early so either pay private water taxi or take public boats... which if full.. you have wait for next one. The Staff are wonderful and room gorgeous but if you want to go back forth shopping and such, its just not convenient. "

"Generator is a fun place, well designed and at a perfect location for exploring Venice. The people who work there are very kind and helpful and the common spaces are appealing. Good breakfasts and snacks at any time. Sleeping in a large dormitory is the deal here, but my dormitory was very stuffy unless you knew to open the window wide before bedtime. The lockers under the beds worked well, and so did the phone charging plug by the bed, but the light by my bed was gone and was never replaced....

"This is a very charming and well-run hotel in a historic 500-year-old building. The staff is excellent, as is the included breakfast. The only caution is that it is on the island of Murano, which is separate from Central Venice. To get there, you have to take a boat, which is actually kind of fun. Also, to get to the airport, you have to drag your luggage about half a mile to a different wharf. But it’s all great and its own way. Highly recommended!"
