"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great - just a couple of blocks from the Mall. It was great to have a Starbucks in the lobby. Rooms were ok, not dirty but just a bit outdated. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Overall, a pretty good stay."

"The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning ..."

"The staff were wonderful. The hotel is a typical European hotel with the "base" rooms (the lower end cost wise) being subterranean and tiny. It was funky amd the floors were uneven in places, just like the old hotels in Europe. But the location can not be beat."

"lovely clean hotel, good breakfast, comfortable room. no stores or bars anywhere near, 10 minute walk to restaurants wasn't a problem, but after a full day of walking around all the museums, it would have been nice to have restaurants close by."
