Very good view, nice and clean apartment. Coffee machine but no pods. No Air con or fan, no spare pillows, no sheets as it was far too hot for duvet. Very nice apartment but lacking a few basics.

Uniquely beautiful

Great location - check out shuttle service from the train station and the access via the tunnel and lift up into the hotel to avoid the step hill with your luggage. Easy access to the town and all the routes to take you up high! Lovely rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet. And what a view - constantly changing with the weather and time of day! Sometimes there’s nothing to see because of the cloud, sometimes the mountain stands tall and dark, just before dawn you can see the small lights of those who are brave and strong enough to climb up to stand at the top ready for the sunrise golden glow. Stunning! Stayed three nights - wish we’d stayed a little longer to relax and take it all in. Would definitely recommend Relais and Chateaux Schonegg.

I had a wonderful stay at Sunstar Hotel! All the staff members have been so friendly. Allen and Salman were super kind and awesome!! I enjoyed meeting them! The hotel itself is gorgeous with the best view of Grindelwald. I highly recommend :)

Views from our 4th floor room with balcony facing the mountains were breathtaking & the red geranium in the decks flower box added wonderful color. The pool and hot tub were exceptional and breakfast had many selections & a nice seating area. The automated check-in and checkout process made everything easy. Wengen was a central, gorgeous place to stay. I'd highly recommend this property!

Premier Location in Town. We were in Suite 404, which was comfortable. Slept with windows open, no problems, except the Church clock tower bells sounding every 15 minutes
