"Not much choice for the buffet, nothing local or home made. There is always something missing on the buffet and it takes time to get the refill I wonder when was the last time the floor was cleaned in the bathroom "

"Stunning castle location, as its well over 100 years old wonky floors should be expected. Our ground floor room was right next to some stairs which I thought might have been a problem but apart from the odd guest with diving boots on early on we didn't get disturbed. You get what you pay for and as such the restaurant was a bit pricey but the food was excellent and the staff very pleasant. The grounds are very picturesque with a golf course next door. Well worth a visit."

"Lovely room, welcoming staff and well located. A couple of noisy guests going back to their rooms but noise was short lived. Toilet didn’t flush well but great overall experience and we will definitely stay again. One more point to consider, Parking is not free. We think it is too expensive and should be nominal or free with your stay."
