"It’s a nice vonvenient place to stay, either a mice bar, good food and friendly staff. The breakfasts are really exceptional when you can literally pick what you want and I loved thee choice of eggs. However the rooms are the let down. Somewhat dates, shower with curtains, lovely old sash windows but wobbly and loose which rattle in the wind. Beds are comfortable though and the rooms cleaned every day. It’s a nice older style hotel, pretty comfy, great staff and breakfasts but just a tad dated."

"There is no designated car parking, although there is a Council based car park behind the hotel, with a fee payable to the relevant authority. Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of tasty morsels supplied. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the bearded guy on the evening shift, he seemed to be check in, come chef, come waiter role, top marks to him. The room was clean and stocked with tea/coffee, hot chocolate would have been nice too if supplied. A toilet brush in the bathroom would have been useful."

"I made a request weeks before my stay; for a room in the main hotel building for my birthday. As didn't want to be placed in the annex next to car park,, I was once placed there before, and was very cramped, dark and noisy,.. So when I checked in I was told there was only room in the annex.. The hotel had ignored my messages I forwarded to them.. My 2 nights were very noisy, Someone banged on the window early hours of the morning. I had left my towels on the floor as soaking wet to be changed, but they were just left on radiator. I had to go to reception to change them, I had no apology. My birthday ruined, I was very upset,I won't return."
