8/10 Good

"Lovely hotel with helpful staff. The room was comfortable and clean."

Redwings Lodge Baldock

8/10 Good

"Disappointing that the breakfast description from reviews was "with some guests finding it plentiful and others appreciating the free and simple offering" it was more on the simple side, as in it was a selection of cereal and some bread to do toast, and with Orange and Apple Juice options and the usual Tea/Coffee. Also on the pictures, number 8 (as I type this) implied a goody bag was provided, but wasn't. Particularly, it looked like a yoghurt pot. There wasn't even yoghurt provided at breakfast (as above) or a croissant, also in the picture. Also, there were only 2 of us, a couple, but just as well as we tried to have a look at the sofa bed, for future options, and it appeared broken. Perhaps it should be thrown outside on the field out the back like the other broken bed we saw there. :-/ Only 1 pillow each, which I guess is standard/acceptable, But we've always had extra pillows available. There was ONE extra, and we asked at reception and they literally gave us the last one (she said this). Everything else was fine, it was comfy and cosey, quiet, and with a decent bathroom. I'd just include a more accurate description as to the breakfast and that there is no kitchen. I was expecting at least a fry."

Days Inn by Wyndham Stevenage North

"The hotel on arrival looked clean and warm. Staff were friendly. The room was cleaned by kirsty and was very good. The bedroom window was completely broken unsafe but had a white surcurity wiresoihadtohopethag an alarm would gooffif the wind opened the window. As it was very windy and it kept opening. The bed was comforting the only problem was the staff in the build outside my room window decided to move there metal trolley and banged about abit at 5am or 6am the clocks had changed .when jdidvetjp and go for my breakfast box in the morning to reception ihaftowaitatleast10mins for someone to come to desk apparently the door bell button they have had run out of battery🙄 just need a little tlc around the place. No hot food available as no restaurant but your are near the services but it's is cheap food. I went to Baldock T he orange tree where very good and had live music on and parking. I would stay here again"

Champneys Henlow

10/10 Excellent

"Hi..it is a genuine spa-hotel...not a hotel with a spa. Healthy food (but also wine etc..) and it was delicious. Staff and amenities were solid and the rooms were 'fine' nothing over the top...but they do have Elemis lotions and creams in massive containers to use so even if you're not in the spa you feel like you are !!!"

Modern 4 bed house Stevenage 22mins from London King’s Cross.

8/10 Good

"The house was clean, well located and comfortable. We did have an issue with a double booking on the second night of our stay, during which the second group were able to enter the house with our belongings in as you are instructed to leave the second key in the lock box. We were lucky they were such nice people, and graciously cancelled their booking, or we could have had an issue. After this, we received no communication from the host to apologise until we contacted him.If the hosts are going to offer this property on multiple platforms, they must ensure they co-ordinate bookings across them all to prevent repeats of this issue. Be wary of booking this property through this platform as we were told they don't really monitor on here because no one really books through Vrbo.If this hadn't happened it would have been a very pleasant stay."
