"Our kids love staying here.
Clean and friendly staff.
Pool, games room and entertainment is great.
Only compliant is it's furnishings are very old and dated with a musky smell apart from that we loved it."

Breakfast excellent extensive choice, room lovely spacious great view with a balcony tastefully decorated . Good parking available onside. Close to all amenities staff helpful.
Bad points, the shown pool and jacuzzi were closed due to the local hosepipe ban apparently this was mot communicated in the hotel website or Expedia only when we got there. Shower pressure not great overall it was good.

Lovely hotel by the sea
We stayed at the Langstone Cliff hotel before a concert at Powderham castle. We arrived early afternoon and decided to have lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea. Lunch was lovely and the drinks were cold. Having parasol’s kept us cool on a very hot day. Our room was lovely, quite small but had everything we needed and the air con was an added bonus. The travel to Powderham was easy and relatively quick with only a short walk to the station and then about a 15 minute...

Lovely old, traditional hotel in a great central location (opposite Exeter Central railway station) with on-site parking. Easy walking to all amenities. Staff very helpful. Unfortunately they weren’t serving lunch but lots of choice nearby. Saw other reviews about it being ‘a bit tired’ - so glad it didn’t put me off. Will definitely be using this as my base for all future visits to Exeter.

Lovely hotel and location about 20min walk to torre abbey sands. Although it is a steep hill on the way back I’d recommend a taxi. The hotel was comfortable and amazing staff who showed us our room and was available to contact at the desk all day for any queries. They cater to older guests and families and had such a lovely atmosphere with the pool. Parking was easy in the hotel car park but I can imagine it can get full. The room itself was simple but perfect for on a budget.

Lovely staff, very nice place, friendly clean and close to everything. Breakfast was very satisfying with a good choice on the menu on a cooked breakfast plus help your self cereals ,fruit ,juices, tea and coffee yogurts and pastries. Nice bar. We had a nice few days taking boat rides and steam train. Relaxed in a few of the many bars and even went to see a show in the theatre. Lovey break.
