Dissenters Chapel is worth a look. Fascinating history.






Whist being a small room. It was warm clean and facilities were great. Bed and pillows very comfy.

The hotel is lovely and the staff are very polite and friendly. Situated right on the seafront the front facing room was large with perfect views. We visited at the end of February and it was a shame that the bar was not set up to sell draught beers and the main restaurant was not open in the evenings. ...

Lovely hotel, close to the beach and an easy short walk to shops. Very helpful staff. I enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Received a text stating that access codes for the property would be provided shortly after 14:00 for check in at 15:00. Phoned at 14:30 and left message. Left 2 subsequent messages with no call back or codes. Emailed at 15:20 having still not received access codes or a call back stating that if codes ...

The house was really lovely just needs the painwork redoing radiators were rusty need replacing and the sofas in the lounge also

Just lovely place easy to walk about as I have to use walking sticks
We stayed at Newton Poppleford for the purpose of attending an event at Bicton Arena, which was just a few miles up the road, and did not, therefore, have reason or time to visit Sidmouth whilst there.
Loved Sidmouth itself It is beautiful. We stayed because we were off to the Donkey Sanctuary and it is very close to that and definitely both places are worth a visit.
Lovely town with excellent shops. Lovely seafront. Good base for touring around.
Neil's restaurant in Sidmouth was excellent, especially the fish dishes.
