"cleanliness: top notch, the hotel is properly maintained. smells good so it means it's clean regularly and it is. service: staff are really friendly and accommodating, maybe need to improve service at the Pizzeria by la Isla, people in that area seems doesn't look like they want to help you when you approach them, twice when we ask for something it seemed like we have disturb them not even smiling (the bartender), all the other waiter or waitress running the pool area are very friendly and courteous. Room service could be improved by making sure the person answering the call can speak and understand English well. food: needs to improve, some amazing restaurant are Mikado, Kasai and Champions Sports Bar, the rest needs to improve in terms of freshness of food (some buffet restaurants: food are very dry and there's even birds eating some of the food on display). Breakfast buffet is very good as there's lots of options to cater to all the tourist. other: too bad can't really swim/use the beach over all experience 8/10"

"People staff was very helpful sometimes trying to hard but not need it very hard working staff in place. Buffet for breakfast it’s great but not for lunch or dinner it’s a poor menu implementation needed variations nothing special it looks like a restaurant family meal desserts station on buffet are are great lots of very nice choices. Mexican restaurant I didn’t bother to visit it looks in from outside disorganized and last year when I was there as well air conditioning wasn’t working/ menu it really don’t represent Mexican cuisine which it’s fantastic if it’s executed correctly. Italian restaurant i tried the pasta spaghetti pomodoro a classic simple dish wasn’t executed correctly or the chicken à la parmigiana so I didn’t bother to visit the restaurant but i got those two dishes delivered to the buffet restaurant. Cevicheria restaurant was fantastic I like the shrimp cocktail especially the cocktail sauce the fish tacos simple nice I would be careful on making sure seafood soup it’s at temperature correct temperature 140’ hot nice wine service very attentive nice people overall. Burger restaurant very nice simple but nice again very helpful attentive staff. This was my second visit last year and this year my honest opinion food needs to improve and presentation of the food. My favorite spot for me my wife and my boy was the gelato and dessert coffee shop it’s great all around. Hope this review helps to improve bcz the hospitality hotel installations are all great."

"We had to move after 2 nights b/c they were doing construction outside our door. The 1st night in the 2nd place a woman let herself into our room with the key, saying she booked it through airbnb. She’s been given the wrong info. 2 days later we couldn’t use the balcony b/c they were power washing right above it. Our stovetop has electrocuted me multiple times even though I was very careful after the 1st time. Our 5th night the microwave lit on fire. 2 security guys came to to try to find out where the fire happened because the fire smell was so bad a neighbor called them. The next day I wasn’t able to use the balcony again as a worker appeared there & setting up to work above it (was glad I was dressed. They offered another move to a spot where the construction was already done & we took it. Fridge stopped working for 2 days. Lost electricity - only our unit. Were told the electricity company made a mistake & it would be fixed the next day so we slept there 1 night then they never showed up so we moved back to the 2nd apt. Great for families - divided pool. No face/wash cloths in 1st 2 ‘standard’ studios, provided in upgraded unit. Plenty of bath & beach towels. Very clean. All apartments have beach & pool views. 2nd pool is on the restaurant roof is available if you purchase something from there. Massages can be scheduled there too - ‘feel good’ massage. The tide is VERY strong & often unsafe. LOTS of sargassum. The bus stop is out front & safe & easy"
