My wife and I stayed over on a Saturday night, with me going to watch the football and my wife going shopping. We then met at 6pm and had a terrific evening in Liverpool. We arrived early morning on the Saturday and were happily allowed to leave the car in the hotel car park. I had a lovely stay at Aberley House, whilst taking in 2 days golf at Royal Birkdale for the British Open. The location was great and just a 10 minute walk to the train station and local amenities. Plenty of parking available and I found the property very clean and the host was very helpful. The games room was an extra bonus. Breakfast was very good and I would stay here again if in the area.

Excellent standard of hotel. Really liked the room, dinner, breakfast, atmosphere. The only minor negatives were the amount of listed TV channels which didn't work, no radio stations and our AC didn't seem to function although we didn't mention it to staff. Thoroughly recommend.

Straightforward check in, Very nice room with functional layout. I liked the room because it was very quiet and the bed was comfortable.
The TV is slightly ‘too’ smart and seems to feel the need to switch itself on in the middle of the night. This could do with sorting out.
