"Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities. "Nice enough, but nothing special. A couple of little things made it 4 stars not 5- we only had one towel between two of us, the water pressure from the tap was very poor, the lights seemed to not be working all fully, and we couldn’t seem to turn the extractor fan off completely! But the bed was comfy enough and the room was clean. The room was also quiet, we had no road noise. "
