We stayed for 3 nights over the Easter holidays as a family of 3 and our dog. The location was perfect just a 10 minute drive to Cheddar and 20 minutes to Wells. The lodges are clean, warm and spacious with everything you need in kitchen. The hot tub was lovely and a good size, this was a hit with our 8 year old. The lodge has its own little private garden and decking area with the hot tub and bbq area. It was extremely peaceful and quite, which was exactly what we were after. Soon resolved. The lodge is very remote along a narrow, twisty, well used road. Lovely views, hot tub was fab, as were the views You could take bikes as a mile or so is access to the Strawberry line, an off road cycle path. Road quite hazardous though so not suitable for small children on bikes.Nice dog walk as cows not out and it was dry.Swimming pool looked nice but was out of season, so closed.We found bed too firm and could not sleep. ##### Heather S.
