Convenient and quiet location; smart house/apartment with plenty of space and very clean. Coffee/tea was provided but not breakfast as stated on Expedia listing of property. However, there was a good cafe almost opposite. We would use this property again if we are in the area.
Adrian is a super host. Could do with more cleaning and new/better mattress. Parking is the biggest pain in the area.
The beds and pillows were perfect. Room was spacious and clean. George on Reception was very friendly and helpful.
Like : fair price for basic accommodation, powerful shower Dislike: thin walls, loose tap, blocked shower drain.
Lovely and historic old building. However the outside stone steps up to the accommodation were a bit off-putting and would make the hotel unsuitable for people who could not cope with stairs. The plumbing was a bit erratic. But the room was very clean and the staff very welcoming and obliging.
We stayed in room 20 and it was just above the function room, it was very noisy until 12'oclock the whole room vibrating. We went for a quiet break with our 6 year old son, but we wasn't informed about the function till we could here it blurring on the way to bed around 8'oclock. We then had to endure ...
Microwave & fridge at the property... view however was appalling
O.K. for one night but not for an extended holiday.
