"The house and cottage was perfect for our family reunion of 12 and 2 little ones. Bathroom and shower/tub in every room! Kitchen and Dining area and seating for 18 inside and out was perfect. Amazing kitchen with plenty of dishes and all possibly needed to cook large meals. Three sitting rooms with fireplace and wood provided Games, books, puzzles, game room, outside badminton and soccer. Best VRBO! Views amazing!"

"This property is wonderful. The property is brand new/recently renovated and this is apparent as soon as you step inside the front door. All fixtures and fittings are of good quality and the charm of the original building such as exposed beams have all been kept. It is in a quiet location with stunning walks and trails on your doorstep but the village is only a 10 minute walk. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily come back ourselves."

We ordered from the menu homemade lasagne garlic bread and some chips for our first night and was so worth it tasted better than any pub meal. "Six friends with much to catch up on so a good deal of time spent in this lovely cottage round the kitchen table. The welcome hamper was especially appreciated and as we quickly discovered the bedrooms and general layout was spacious and beautifully maintained.The gardens were also a special delight with ample parking for three cars. Excellent meals at fairly local pubs and the most outstanding Garden Centre called Oakchurch was a a real find. We won't hesitate to book again."

"This property is outstanding. Absolutely superb views are the first thing that can't be missed. Inside the property is brand new and renovated based around the traditional farm building with characteristics and beams retained and exposed. Beautifully warm, high spec and everything you would want for a stay including a dishwasher and washing machine. "The Stables is such a lovely place to stay. It's got lovely views over the countryside and it's so peaceful. The hot tub was great, there's a log burner (which we didn't need), it's very clean and you can tell the Stables has been converted to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped, the wifi was excellent and its location is ideal for exploring Monmouthshire or the Forest of Dean. Highly recommend the Stables for any couple."
