It was a charming and spacious cottage. It was the perfect location for the town, only a 5/10 minute walk. Great for exploring all the bookshops and local cafes. It was a good place for walking our dogs.
We loved our stay at Hazelbrae!
The cottage was very close to Hay On Wye and had all the amenities you could want.
Lewis was an excellent host that responded well and answered any extra questions we would ask.
Hazelbrae Cottage proved to be a positive and memorable holiday for us all.
We will definitely be back!
Easy to access and a lovely quiet country lane but just a few minutes walk into Hay. The cottage has a great layout and it was lovely to have the fire ready for us - nice touch if people aren’t used to making fires.
Two small cars can fit on the drive but we parked our second car on the street with no issues.
We spent our birthdays and Mother’s Day at Hazelbrae. The cottage is gorgeous and in a fantastic location. Literally a short walk into Hay on Wye. The beds were so comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Beautifully decorated, very well equipped and the multi layered garden was great for views and exploring. Great communication with the host, lots of info via email and in the cottage. Many memories made, we will definitely return.
