Beautifully relaxing stay. Good communication from the host, property well presented and provisions for an easy start to the stay. Would highly recommend and hope to return.
The property is beautifully decorated and very cosy with the log burner on. It was a much larger space than we expected and the bathroom was fabulous. The views from the hot tub were amazing. We had a great stay and recommend this for anyone wanting a remote property
I spent an amazing 3 days in the barn it was beyond expectation, location and view beautiful expecially the sheep and goats i felt like at home it was peaceful to relax romantically away from busy london close to nature loved it!
Will be back again xx
Thank you Jeremy for having us x
Beautiful property with stunning countryside views
The Stables is such a lovely place to stay. It's got lovely views over the countryside and it's so peaceful. The hot tub was great, there's a log burner (which we didn't need), it's very clean and you can tell the Stables has been converted to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped, the wifi was excellent and its location is ideal for exploring Monmouthshire or the Forest of Dean. Highly recommend the Stables for any couple.
Beautiful barn .. Delightful slipper bath .. Bed was so comfy .. Hot tub with views Fab! Area of outstanding beauty and so very Peaceful.. Hope to return ..
Chosen for a weekend to celebrate my birthday. The accommodation was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was clean and well laid out. The owners were lovely , unobtrusive but available if needed. The hot tub could do with lights along the path, the solar lights there weren’t working. The lid is also very heavy and I couldn’t manage it on my own.

Disliked: Check-in, communication
Disappointing
Host did not reply to our messages.
Property not ready on our arrival.
Heating didn’t work properly.
Radiator in bathroom very noisy.
Bathroom tap came off in my hands.
No privacy due to accommodation being next to the drive of the owners house.
No privacy using hot tub.
Nothing available to clear up after using the log burning and the vacuum didn’t work properly.
No wardrobe available to hang clothes.
What a fantastic place...one of the best we have stayed at...and we have stayed at many. Location is fab, property has everything you need and the hot tub and provisions provided an added bonus. Well done to both Jeremy & his wife and we wish you both & your little family all the best.
Myself and my girlfriend spent two nights to celebrate our 5th year anniversary and it couldn’t have been better.
The location was beautifully country and the self-check in process was very easy. The grounds of the stable are beautiful, with a farm and lovely house at the top. We arrived late in the evening so didn’t get to meet the hosts over our stay much, however we enjoyed this as it gave us privacy, alongside the peace of mind knowing Jeremy was only a phone call or message away (very quick replies).
The stable was beautiful with modern decor to complement the original wooden beams on the roof. It was very clean, bright and warm. The log burner was also perfect after a long day travelling.
The TV had built in Netflix, free view and YouTube and could be viewed from the bed or living room space. The bed was so comfortable with thick quilt covers and bedding.
As if the place couldn’t be any better...the hot tub. Positioned to give a beautiful country view it was the ultimate cherry on top.
This stay made our Anniversary one we will neve forget. I can’t praise the property and hosts enough for our experience. We will be sure to tell all our friends about the stable and look forwards to one day returning.
