"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! The host was very helpful by offering information about the area and directions to the property prior to our trip. She also welcomed us to the home by leaving some breakfast items for us on the kitchen counter upon our arrival. The nearby beach and surrounding fields of sheep made for some stunning views. The house was spacious yet still felt cozy and comfortable and it was the perfect spot for us to use as a home base as we explored the beauty...

"Property is exactly as shown and described. No surprises here at this property. End townhouse was very clean and very quiet. It's an easy walk to Donegal town centre.Washer/dryer is a combined unit that washes well, but not a great dryer. There is a clothes rack in the main floor washroom that will definitely be needed. If you need a proper dryer it's best to head to the washer/dryers at the Circle-K that's just around the corner.Super location and an excellent unit. Would definitely stay here...

"This was a good location for what we wanted to do. It was very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed watching the sheep on the hills across the street. No neighbors to speak of which we appreciate. The house has a strong smell of mold but that is to be expected in an older Irish home. If you have allergies to mold be aware. The host was very responsive to questions via Expedia but we recommend some kind of instruction manual on how to turn on the heat."

"The reception staff were very friendly and helpful as was the spa personnel. The room was clean and comfortable. The sheets were a little stiff and not the most comfortable. We used the thermal suite for one hour and it needed some TLC. Tiles were falling off in the steam room seats making the seats a little gritty. All in all I would recommend this accommodation."

"We had a family night away here Great central hotel on the main street, We went to the sister hotel on the sunday and used the leisure facilities which were great. We had food in the bar which was lovely and great service Only thing I would say is there were groups of people coming back at 2am,3am,4am and they were congregated in the hallways and very loud. There was no one walking the floors to reduce the noise which I think in a city hotel is always useful when there are groups of people, so sleep quality wasn't good and made for a long night"

"The hotel is pet-friendly, which was a big plus for us, and our dog was made very welcome. The staff were friendly and helpful, but a special mention has to go to Christine at reception, who was exceptionally kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was particularly comfortable. As the hotel is right beside the harbour, there was some noise from the road and boats, even with the window closed, but this is understandable given the location. Breakfast had a good selection and there was plenty of choice to suit different tastes. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Tara. We would be happy to stay again, especially when travelling with our dog."
