Amazing hotel I didn’t want to leave it’s the best hotel ever

High end resort, staff very accommodating, always a different activity or event on during the evening

Will be a 5* but need to polish up on the finer details to make customer experiences better; small requests seemed difficult. As an English traveller we definitely fell through a language gap with the staff especially on the front desk (everyone else seemed to get a welcome drink) and room services side but also appreciate our lack of Spanish doesn't help. The good side of the hotel - food is incredible, all restaurant staff great (Henry was amazing), pools amazing, styling and furniture in...

We especially liked the entertainment and sports animation. The tennis teacher Leonel was an extremely good, patient and instructive teacher, that tried to improve our level of tennis. But also the whole entertainment area with a vast option of billard, table tennis, football, darts, archery and even boulder opportunities and pickleball were just excellent.

Everything about Barceló Bávaro Beach was outstanding! Food, staff, private beach, cocktails! My only criticism would be that the rooms (especially bathrooms) desperately need upgrading considering the cost to stay there.

What a wonderful place. Very rustic but stylish design. Comfortable beds, beautiful view from the balcony and loved the idea of a hammock in the room for chilling out. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. All staff were friendly and keen to help. The natural swimming pools were very unique and a great way to spend a few hours chilling out between hikes or kayaking nearby. Only negative is be prepared for a terrible road for the last 7km of driving to get there!

Good selection of all inclusive restaurants with great food. Rooms and surrounding gardens we well looked after. Hotel were very amazing, friendly and helpful. Especially Ruth and entertainment team Aka Victor, Bieber, Baby Face and Michael Jordan.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and welcoming, we loved the hotel grounds and it felt like a luxury brand, the alcohol was premium and branded at each bar, the food was of a good selection, the rooms were well designed, the coffee shop did some tasty milkshakes, the mini bar was well stocked, we had a great time and would love to return in the future

Loved the coffee shop and so many pool areas/bars/restaurants. Particularly liked the unique beach and breakfast/bar area. Also extra touches for birthday with banner, balloons etc. We brought hang up dehumidifier disposable bags which worked great as high humidity and aircon.

First trip to the DR and I really enjoyed my stay at Bávaro Palace. The facilities are lovely, my room had a comfortable bed and a beautiful sea view. I would definitely stay Premium again. It included the restaurants, spa hydrotherapy and pool, plus the Pirates adult water park. The water park is small — more a pool with slides than a huge water park — but the water was perfectly warm, very clean and the slides were fun. The spa pool was also spotless. The main pool was clean enough but...

We had a great vacation here. The adjacent beach was superb, the food in the buffet was generally excellent, the entertainment well organised and the staff mostly friendly and helpful. The concierge Jose tipped it to 5*. Definitely a few niggles: room quality didn't match the listing, some of the restaurants were iffy and certain elements felt gougey (e.g. "privelege" and the on site store) but nothing major enough to detract from the rating.. We'd go again.

Very clean room, staff were great and friendly. Unfortunately no sea view
