Beautiful resort grounds but there is some room for improvement. Alot of the staff does not speak English which made communication a challenge, at night the grounds are really dark and hard to navigate, the rooms do lack a do not disturb sign. More variety needed at the Yolo 24/7 restaurant, and the menus at the specialty dining lacked accurate detailing. Besides that it was a great experience for our family, we had a great spa session, and the kids enjoyed the pool and splash areas! Would definitely re book this resort.

Room was clean and facilities were beautiful, noticed some leaking on lobby ceiling but personnel was always cleaning and keeping it neat. All personnel was very friendly and able to help. We had a problem with our room due to broken pipes, and they struggled to change us to a different room but after a few hours they gave us an upgrade to a better room. Apart from that situation, we spent a good time. Loved Cenote area! Was really impressive and beautiful. Pools were huge and stunning. Restaurants were mostly good. Peruvian restaurant was one of my favorites, ceviche was really good and is a fusion between Japanese cuisine as well, delicious. French restaurant was good but Mexican was top, aguachile, tacos and nachos were so good. On the other hand, Italian restaurant was beautiful cave like decoration, but the food was not good, only good for pictures. One of the waiters was rude and somehow disrespectful. But was only one over all the others that were very nice. Overall I recommend it. Is a very beautiful place.

The hotel was top class. We are a family of 4 arrived in the afternoon. We were received with champagne and the full check in took about 5 minutes. We stayed in one of the new rooms at the Splash Cove so everything was shiny. The food was delicious at Lima and Thai restaurants. The Brazilian restaurant was a close second. Le Boheme was our least favorite. The service was excellent at the buffet, all restaurants and pool bars. Alexandra and Anacelia were top notch waitresses at the buffet while Ismael, Alberto and Mario were the best at the pool bars. The drinks were not that strong but they will add alcohol if you ask. The gym was brand new so we enjoyed working out there. The beach is a 7 minute walk but it’s worth. There was sargassum in the beach but you can swim as they clean it every morning. We loved this hotel and will definitely go back in the future.

Will be a 5* but need to polish up on the finer details to make customer experiences better; small requests seemed difficult. As an English traveller we definitely fell through a language gap with the staff especially on the front desk (everyone else seemed to get a welcome drink) and room services side but also appreciate our lack of Spanish doesn't help. The good side of the hotel - food is incredible, all restaurant staff great (Henry was amazing), pools amazing, styling and furniture in all common spaces high quality. Not beach fronted as stated - long walk through other hotel. Sun loungers could have been more comfortable in the scope of the hotel spec for everything else. The poor side of our stay was the room. We had 3 calls to maintenance (safe, power and water), dirty pillow which didn't get changed despite asking, no cot on arrival which most hotels either ask on check in or have in room ready. Biggest issue was with asking for a kettle in order to sterilise my baby's bottle. Asked repeatedly over 2 days and ended up being dragged to reception and asked to sign a waiver for $100 on a cheap plastic kettle. I wasted an hour when I could have been with my toddler in the pool. Then was told on check out I needed to bring it back with me. Ridiculous service and not that bigger request as a family (but I could be trusted with a hair dryer, a coffee machine and an iron in the room as standard). Soured the stay and was stress I didn't need just to feed my baby.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property was beautiful and very clean, the food was excellent with plenty of variety, and the activities and entertainment were diverse and enjoyable. The only downside was that most of the staff, except for the front desk team, spoke very little or no English. This sometimes made it difficult to ask questions or get information about different areas and services within the resort. However, overall, the property, cleanliness, food, activities, and facilities were all excellent, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

​Beautiful resort, but terrible service and a clear lack of respect for local Dominican guests. We booked a pool view room for a 5-day stay, but were initially given a dark, cramped room that felt like a basement. After pushing back, we were moved, and ultimately paid extra to upgrade to a swim-up room just to make the trip enjoyable. Unfortunately, the poor service persisted. Dining hours are rigid, room service is extremely limited, and the staff at the pool bar and Yolo snack bar made us feel completely unwelcome—treating us as if we were second-class guests. For the amount of money charged, this standard of hospitality is unacceptable. Locals are clearly not valued here; Dominicans, save your money and stay away.

No tienen servicio al Cliente la comida no es buenas los restaurants no tienen lo k ofrecen no tienen bebidas premium no tienen area premium los Cliente vip son tratado mal como cualquier reserva un hotel que solo es bonito pero no tienen nada k ofrecerle a un Cliente vip que paga pok el servicio y no se le da el trato que correspode los empleado no tienen la educacion y delicadesa que merece un clients

Fue excelente en todo, destaco los frapes del bar del area de la piscina, el de chinola y de coco espectacular. Mucha variedad en el bufet, Lo unico Que deben mejorar es en que muchas personas viajan en grupos y en los restaurantes solo reservan para 4 personas, y maximo pueden unir 2 mesas para 8 personas y tuvimos que hacerlo por separado y la idea era compartir en grupo porque estamos celebrando cumpleaños

Me encantó el hotel! Excelente servicio, la comida muy rica, mucha variedad, me encantó los frapes que hacen en el bar cerca de la piscina de frutas naturales, el de coco y el de parcha (excelente) Lo unico que no me gusto fue que eramos un grupo de 13 personas y se nos hizo dificil para reservar en los restaurantes porque las mesas son de 4 personas y algunos maximo de 8. Y que el restaurante de carnes no aceptan menores🙄 por lo demas 20/10!
