I got food poisoning on the second day after arriving, and the food at the à la carte restaurants was disappointing. However, the pool, waterpark, and beach were great. The staff was very kind and always willing to help. The kids’ club was the highlight — my daughter absolutely loved it.

The resort was very nice and clean. The pools were beautiful and the ocean was very nice. There was lots of seaweed in the ocean and on the shore, so don't come here thinking it's all blue water. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was not great. Not a lot of choices and long food lines. Lots of redundancy in the dishes.

As a facility, the hotel is fine, and the gardens are well-kept; however, the pools are very dirty and have mold—I never saw them being cleaned, which is a shame. The beach isn't good, and the food is terrible, though the buffet was better than the specialty restaurants. The best parts were the laundry service—the towels were clean and smelled great—and the staff was very pleasant, helpful, and attentive. Kyle, in particular, looked after us the whole time; he was a 10 out of 10—he listened to our needs and addressed many of our complaints. Many thanks to him.

It would have nice to receive a status of the Sargassum in the email we received from Sirenis before our tip started, just to set up correct expectations. We had to book a trip to Saona island to have enjoy a little bit of a nice and kind of clean beach. The animation team at Grand Sirenis punta Cana was very nice and funny, we enjoyed the shows at night and in the pool. They lacked of good sports organization such as beach volleyball or water sports (no catamaran, no kayak, sailing, etc). The restaurant choices was limited as not all were opened, plus the menu was limited. We enjoyed more the regular buffet restaurant. Regardless of those bumps on the road, we had a good time.

The staff was great very helpful and very nice but compared to other places I’ve been to, they have the will but not the availability to meet our needs. Something so simple as hair conditioner was not provided in the rooms, swimming pools were dirty and moldy, water bottles hard to find at the buffet and drinks with barely any alcohol, and light beers. I saw roaches on the lobby, in my room and a mouse in the bushes between lobby and our rooms. I would not say here ever again u

Rooms were very clean but the restaurants were all fully booked the pool closed at 6:30pm everyday the water park the slide didn’t have any water coming down and staff was friendly but there was definitely some shady stuff going on me my sister and my cousin all paid for the same sunscreen and she charged me $32 my sister $27 and my cousin $29 all the exact one there was also a situation with two 18year old young ladies so the safety part was definitely a concern

VERY SATISFYING FAMILY HOLIDAY Myself, my wife, our five-year-old daughter, and her grandma had a wonderful stay here in May 2026. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and lined with palm trees and coconuts. We particularly liked the beach, the pools, the lobby bar, and the waterpark. Much of the staff were very friendly and helpful too. There is music around the resort all the time and the live band was great. There is usually an evening show every night at 9:30 for 45 minutes. I cannot give it five stars as on the food side it was very very difficult to get a reservation in any of the themed restaurants, and the dinners in the buffet area were not outstanding. They never serve any great fish or beef, options were focused on keeping costs down with mainly chicken and pork dishes. There is also a strange upsell going on where they wanted us to try a breakfast in the premium area, but we would have to agree (literally sign) for a 90 minute sales speech after, which was poorly communicated and executed. Overall though, unforgettable stay. Went home very happy

Overall, our stay was decent, but there are several areas that need improvement. The hotel appears to be understaffed, especially at the buffet during all meal times and at the lobby bar in the evenings. The staff works very hard and does the best they can, but there simply are not enough employees to properly serve the number of guests. The pool area has some maintenance issues, including loose cables and lighting fixtures in the water, which raises safety concerns. The rooms are very comfortable and attractive, although some minor repairs and updates would be beneficial. The food was okay, but not great. The arcade also needs attention, as several machines were not working properly. Additionally, some of the water park rides were closed or not functioning during our stay. While the staff was friendly and hardworking, the hotel would greatly benefit from additional employees, better maintenance, and improved upkeep of its attractions. Beach horrible 😤

We stayed at Grand Sirenis Punta Cana for a week in May, from Wednesday to Wednesday. The hotel is extremely large, beautiful, and impeccably clean, with a lovely scent throughout. The staff is incredibly attentive and pleasant. Everything was perfect—truly a stunning resort, with a gorgeous, huge water park. The rooms were excellent, and the air conditioning was okay—not too cold, but comfortable. The views were lovely, and the TV worked well. Now, on the downside, the food was not varied. To get a good selection at the buffet, you have to arrive early—once items run out, they don’t restock. By the end, it’s mostly chicken and pork; no beef or shrimp to be found. Also, the à la carte restaurants are not open every day; one might open while another is closed, making reservations very difficult. Unfortunately, no one really helps you get those reservations. Overall, it’s a fantastic place, but with a bit more variety in food and easier booking for restaurants, it could be perfect!

The front desk staff allowed another checked out guest to harass myself and 4 friends while we checked in right in front. They only intervened when I asked. Checkin took a very, very long time. Checkout also took a long time and they tried to over charge us for spa services. A staff member named Kyle creeped on me and asked for my phone number and asked me to mention him favorably in this review. Kyle did nothing for us and wasn't helpful. We had pretty low expectations but were pleased with the drinks, rooms, and beach. The spa treatments we received were spectacular. The entertainment was also surprisingly good. The buffet food was very repetitive and not great. There were only 2 restaurants open while we were there. The staff seems inclined to ignore you by default. We did book a boat excursion that took over 2 hours from the time of boarding the shuttle to the boat pushing off. The excursion included viewing captive dolphins which is abhorrent and we did not consent to that. They shoulf disclose this at the time of booking.

Amazing family oriented facility with lots to do! The resort did get a lot of Sargassum but not as much as some locations. The best experiences we had as a family were the excursions to crystal clear beaches and fun swimmable caves. The pricing for these excursions are the same as online and off-site tour companies, so don't be afraid to book at the excursion kiosks they have right on the resort. I would highly recommend bring your own snorkeling gear if sharing gear grosses you out. We had a great time with the "Dune Buggy" excursion. You definitely need handkerchiefs (they sell for $5 each) or you can just bring on your own. You can wear slippers or crocs. You get to drive into muddy waters and have fun driving to a natural cave which you can swim in! They have a DJ booth and it's so much fun! They also include a cultural tour (coco tasting and dance) and you get to meet a huge Boa snake. Even my 6yr old enjoyed this excursion the most! We love coming back to Sirenis - we ended up eating at the buffet for every meal and enjoyed it! We had 3x young kids with us and we used the kids club several times to take a nap or do tennis clinics. Kids club is like a daycare but they have a nice facility and you can use it unlimited times and pop in and out. We had one big family suite and found it comfortable for all 5 of us. They have concierge booths everywhere to book dinner appt. and order more soda/water for the rooms. Definitely bring lots of small bills for tips!

Check-in was quick and easy, which was a great start after a long day of traveling. We arrived tired and hungry, so we were excited to see the food truck at the resort. Unfortunately, that’s where our experience started to change. The server at the food truck seemed visibly irritated from the moment we approached, and that set the tone for much of our stay. Throughout the resort, we found that many of the female staff members came across as annoyed or bothered whenever we needed assistance. We are a very humble, respectful family, and we truly believe that kindness goes a long way. It was disappointing to feel like friendly service was only given when tips were expected. We always appreciate good service and are happy to tip accordingly, but feeling like basic courtesy depends on tipping was honestly sad. A warm smile and a welcoming attitude don’t cost anything, and it makes a big difference in a guest’s experience. As for the food, it was okay—nothing exceptional, but acceptable. One issue we noticed was the dinner buffet. The resort map shows two buffets directly across from each other, but only one was open for dinner. This created unnecessary chaos. Guests were being allowed inside without first being seated, so people were walking around trying to claim tables or taking chairs from other families. Overall the resort was great for the kids. Between the pool and water park the kids had a blast. On the other hand, the resort itself was lacking up keep and maintenance throughout. The rooms smelled musty the entire time even with the air conditioner and fan constantly blowing. There was a constant leak in the entrance to the room. Every time we showered water would come out of the shower (from underwater the shower glass) and onto the bathroom floor so we had to always place a towel on the ground before and after each shower if not the entire floor would be full of water. There were many sloppy patch jobs throughout the hotel room. The hotel hallways in front of the rooms and elevator needed to be updated and cleaned up. There were select few hotel staff that were really nice to our family, but there were lots of hotel staff that were very unhappy and unhelpful with simple questions. The food was okay, not great but not bad either.

We had an amazing stay at Grand Sirenis! This is truly a great resort for families, and we had such a wonderful time together. The facilities, the atmosphere, and the staff made our vacation unforgettable. I would especially like to recognize a few amazing team members who went above and beyond. At the Water Park, Santos from the cleaning staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and always making sure everything was clean and comfortable for everyone. His hard work and positive attitude did not go unnoticed. A very special thank you to Alex, one of the lifeguards. My son has special needs, and Alex was exceptionally attentive, caring, and patient with him throughout our stay. He was always keeping an eye on him, making sure he was safe and comfortable. As a parent, that meant more than words can express. Thank you, Alex, for your kindness and dedication. At the buffet, Mayra provided outstanding service. She was always welcoming, friendly, and made every meal even more enjoyable. We are also very grateful to Valdez for his excellent service and kindness. Most importantly, none of this would have been possible without our butler/lobby concierge, Victor Rosario. From before we even arrived, Victor was in contact with us and made sure every detail was taken care of. He made us feel at home from the very first moment and gave us the peace of mind and confidence we needed to fully enjoy our vacation. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made a huge difference in our stay!

The resort was huge! We definitely got our steps in while on vacation! While the resort was beautiful it lacked a few things.. when we got there our initial room was not cleaned well and was very small. We ended up being moved and that room was nice. The food was ehh i wish food was either on ice or being heated. The tiki bar by the ocean was great! Bartender remembered us every day! The pool itself lacked good music and the pool bar didnt have a big option. They have a QR code to scan for drinks but I was always told "no want a Pina colada?" Lobby bar was nice! All the shows were at 930p which I thought was a bit late traveling with younger kids who wanted to see the shows they'd fall asleep halfway thru. Another con of the trip was the smoking of cigarettes everywhere. Most resorts we've traveled too have a designated area; here you can smoke any and everywhere. My kids liked the kids club to get out of the sun for 1-2 hours. The water park was a bit of a walk but we enjoyed it. The mat slides were being worked on so we were unable to try those out. Beach was filled with Sargassum which its that time of year but I only saw them clean up once while we were there for 7 days

The rooms were definitely not well maintained or clean. The first room they gave me was dirty, and all the furniture and walls were stained and filthy. They upgraded me to an ocean-view room, which was better but still could have been a little cleaner. Unfortunately, the AC in that room broke, causing the room to flood and some of our belongings to get wet. Although they were aware of the issue, no one bothered to let us know before we got to the room, and they did not even clean the floors or have another room ready for us. After we called the front desk, they gave us a new room, but the bathroom was in such bad condition that we refused it, so they had to give us another room in better condition. The property was beautiful and has a lot of potential, but it is definitely not a 5-star type of property. Most of the staff was very nice and friendly. The food was not very good, although we did find some edible options. They have eight different restaurants that require reservations every night, but there was no availability for us, so we had to eat at their buffet restaurant instead. It was very disappointing because we were celebrating my sister’s 50th birthday and were unable to celebrate at one of the restaurants, having to settle for the buffet instead. Overall, I give them 3 stars because the atmosphere and entertainment were great, and the pools, beach, and staff were good.

This resort was perfect for our vacation. We travelled with our 4 year old daughter and her grandparents. The waterpark had something for everyone. We could see maintenance crews so they do inspect and update the slides. We had no concerns with waterpark safety. The stairs for the adult slides need work but no issues. We enjoyed our food at the a la cartes and the buffet. Our rooms were clean and the grounds were beautiful. Beach is lovely, with lots of coral near by with small schools of fish to see while snorkling. We had seen some concerning reviews for this resort before we travelled but we did not expience any of the issues noted. I think people may have unrealistic expectations for resorts in a hot climate. We typically tavel to resorts in the Caribbean at this price point and Grand Sirenis is one of our favorites. We would recommend this resort.
