"A lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world. We stayed in one of the accessible rooms, so can’t comment on the other accommodation, but our room was clean, if a little dated. The real positives were the staff, genuinely lovely and welcoming – along with excellent food and a great selection of local beers on tap. "The hotel in situated in a lovely location and we found it to be very quite we suited us nicely. We had breakfast and evening meal and we could not fault it. We normally stay in the travel lodge when we go up to Bishop Auckland but we will use the Park Head in future."
